Another movie star is heading to the small screen -- and we're talking a big star. Oscar nominated actress and all-around Hollywood sweetheart Anne Hathaway will make a guest appearance on an upcoming episode of 'Glee,' according to E! News.

Creator Ryan Murphy confirmed the news backstage at the Golden Globes, right after the hit show won a Golden Globe for Best Series. According to Us Weekly, the 'Love and Other Drugs' star is scheduled to play Kurt's lesbian aunt in an upcoming episode.

"She created her own character, and we ran into her, and I said 'Really?' and she said 'Yes!' so we're going to do that," Murphy told E!. "We love her."

Adds Brad Falchuck, the show's executive producer, "It was her idea, and [with] someone like her, it's sort of hard to say no!"

The news also was a surprise for some of the cast as well.

'He just said it about 10 minutes ago," laughed Amber Riley.

Chris Colfer has said that his imaginary dream 'Glee' family would include Hathaway and Julie Andrews, and that dream might just become a reality.
