Howard Stern Again Accuses Jay Leno of Stealing Jokes

Shock jock
Howard Stern has some less-than-flattering things to say about somebody, and this time, it's not a guest on his show.
The radio host is accusing late-night legend
Jay Leno of ripping off his material. Stern appeared on Piers Morgan's CNN show and told the host, "Jay is insane. And Jay is a crook. And the world knows exactly what he's up to. He steals a tremendous amount of material," the
New York Post reports.
This isn't the first time Stern has gone after Leno in the press. Not one to mince words,
Stern said of Leno on the
Early Show, "Just the mere mention of Jay Leno's name makes me to want to vomit," calling the 'Tonight Show' host, "a f****** con man, rip-off artist, no idea mother*******."
So tell us, Howard, how do you really feel?
The more recent accusations against Leno are nothing new. In 2009,
Stern accused Leno of stealing one of his sketch ideas outright. In the bit in question, both hosts invite a chicken to predict football wins for the following week. "This must be a giant 'Punk'd' on me," said Stern following the incident. "This guy's ripped off like ten major things from my show. But the chicken thing we did for years."
If there's one thing we know about Stern, his grudge against Leno isn't going to end anytime soon, and his grievance has extended to the public at large. "I don't know how he's beaten
David Letterman in the ratings," he said. "It's beyond my comprehension. America must be filled with morons who at night lay in bed -- the ones who are watching him, they must be in a coma."

Jay has no sense of humor, his is not funny, has to steal to survive. Don't watch him , won't dull and untalented.

Wow... I had forgotten how butt-ugly Stern was.

Howard Stern speaks and no one cares! Remember Howard, filth isn't funny anymore.

Stern, you're still a buffoon. I'm 60 years old and they've been doing things like 'chickens that can pick winners' since I was a kid, so you didn't invent it, either.
ugh!

Those of you who criticize Howard, obviously have never listened to more then 10 min of his show. Yes there is a lot of T&A but NO ONE does an interview like Howard. He gets his subject matter to open up like no other interview on TV/Radio. It is sad that someone who is paid so much money like Jay Leno has to steal other peoples staff and bits to have a career.

I'm no Leno fan, but Howard needs to STFU and stop whining...

Leno makes me nauseous.

I used to listen to Stern, then when Jackie the Jokeman left the show, I realized just how much of Howard's humor came from Jackie. After Jackie left, the Stern show became lame. They tried to get Artie to behave like Jackie but he failed miserably at trying to copy Jackie. Howard ripped Jackie off bigtime. For him to criticize Leno after riding on Jackie's coattails for years is just plain hypocritical.

I doubt Leno writes much of his stuff. I doubt he pays much attention to Howard Stern. One of his writers may have "lifted" something from Stern, but it probably wasn't Leno. Not much new under the sun, anyway. Almost everything is recycled from Steve Allen or Ernie Kofax anyway.

I fired a guy for playing that howard stern cap in my shop.

Stern is a jerk. He preys on those who can't help themselves, es evidenced by the number of "street type people" he's used and abused on his show. Take sex out of the picture and his show would be about nothing.

Howard Stern or Larry Flynt; a turd is a turd no matter what you name it....

Hmmpf! I meant Ernie Kovack. Not Kofax. Can't even use the excuse of thinking of Sandy Koufax. Time for coffee.

That shows that both their material is lame. Instead of making a real joke about Leno he can just think of dirty words. Don't forget how Stern broke into the scene, he was wired down in see-through buttocks pants.

How could I have found Bob Hope, Bob Newhart, George Goebel, Johnny Carson et al so hilarious? Why were the non-stop put-downs in "The Man Who Came to Dinner" so funny. The delivery seemed fresh and easy and no one thought they could be amusing by using vulgarities for shock effect or dropping the F-bomb every other word (no longer shocking-just boring and indication of limited talent and creativity.

Leno looks like a turnip.

If you flip back and forth between the late night hosts, you will find they are all making jokes about the same subjects. My
favorite host now is Jimmy Fallon. I could never stand Conan, so I didn't stay up to watch him, but I love Jimmy Fallon. His skits are actually funny, and he is a talented singer and impersonator too.
