Oh, baby! Sir Elton John and partner David Furnish are on the cover of OK! Magazine UK with the latest addition to their family: baby Zachary.

Their bundle of joy, born on Christmas Day, has changed their lives in ways they couldn't imagine, they tell the magazine.

"I've never felt anything like it in my life," John said about holding his son for the first time. "You're so awestruck, I will never forget that feeling ever."

John and Furnish already have a parenting plan in place for Zachary.

"I'm ready to have a child and lavish my love on our son and not spoil him materially," John said.

The road to parenthood hasn't been an easy one for the couple, who tried to adopt two orphaned Ukrainian brothers -- one of whom is HIV positive -- in 2009, but were denied. The boys are reportedly in the orphanage looking for a home.

"We feel awful," Furnish said. "We keep hitting red tape. But we're not giving up until they're out and in a safe, supported home."

John and Furnish welcomed baby Zachary during the holidays via surrogate, whose identity remains private.

"We are overwhelmed with happiness and joy at this very special moment," the couple said in a statement to Us Magazine last month announcing the birth of their son. "Zachary is healthy and doing really well, and we are very proud and happy parents."

The couple, who married in 2005, have been together for 12 years.

I bet these two men, can raise a child better than some parents these days. I am sure, the child will learn not to call others names. I have a strong feeling, the child will know all about the basics, long before a child thats being raised by mother and father will. Elton is a good guy, that will teach his child manners, morals, discipline, and standards. And respect, for him self, and others. Something everyone seems to have forgotten in the last few decades.
I used to worry what my kids read, and wrote on here.
But its not the kids any more, its the adults that have grown so bitter, they hate everyone that does not think as they do.
I wish all three, all the very best in life.

Congrats on the new baby! It is really sad that children must sit in an orphanage instead in a beautiful house with parents that are there to dote on them and give them a beautiful life! Red Tape! This pains me!

I have been waiting to see the little guys picture! Earlier articles on Zachary said they weren't sure if it was Elton, or David who was the biological father. Just looking at this little boy, something tells me that it's Elton, but could be wrong. Anyways, he's so adorable. I'm glad that Elton and David got their wish, and I hope they get their other one by adopting those two little boys that need a loving home.
