Halle Berry's Confusing Baby Daddy Drama

It looks like Halle Berry will have to gear up for a custody battle with ex Gabriel Aubry.

The model, who announced his split from Berry last spring, filed court documents last month to be officially declared father of their 2-year-old daughter, Nahla, according to E! News.

Why the official move?

Aubry filed a petition on Dec. 30 to have both joint physical and legal custody of the child, as well as support.

Though it was reported that the couple had split amicably, they apparently kept the courts out of their custody arrangements. Now, Aubry just wants to cover his own rights.

Berry and Aubry dated for five years before separating last spring.

"Gabriel just felt it wasn't working anymore," a source told RadarOnline.com at the time. "When they were first together, the nine-year age difference between them didn't phase him; she was the most beautiful woman he had ever dated, and he was totally in love."

The source continued, "But as time went on he started feeling it more and more. Also, Gabriel started noticing other women and being attracted to others, and he felt it just wasn't right to stay with Halle in those circumstances."

Berry is currently dating actor Olivier Martinez, who she met on the set of of her new film 'Dark Tide.'

Aubry was linked with Kim Kardashian last fall, fueling rumors that the pair were dating.

good for him..he did the right thing..he wasn't happy and instead of cheating behind her back, he was gentleman enough to end it before it got to that point. I see couples cheating all the time while proclaiming to love their spouse oh so much, only to bed someone else behind their back. You can't force anyone to stay in love, but you should be an adult enough to call it quits ones you no longer feel the love.

I was like "OK" until I read he wants "support" So he wants to see his daughter half of the time so his daughters mother will HAVE to pay him support. Wow sounds a bit like Heather Mills or Mel Gibsons media loving ex. I guess being a walking coat hanger doesn't pay as much as a sperm donor.

She gets what she deserved. Halle is attention starved and she needed to get pregnant so she could see her name in the mags as often as Angelina Jolie. Halle Berry is an idiot. She got her a young, white guy who she thought would be more into her than she was to herself. He was and she did what she needed to do to keep him. A baby and money. Now she's seeing Gabriel is a young man who does not like to be kept. Don't blame him for taking what she gave in lieu of her use for him.

Nah, that doesn't make any sense. I rarely see Halle in the media and she has always wanted children remember her ex husband cheated on her and claimed he was a sex addict. Also, what does him being white have to do with anything? Remember Halle is white/black and was raised by her white mother so I don't get your point in mentioning he is white; that's stupid.
