Holly Madison Met New Boyfriend on Twitter

Former 'Girl Next Door' Holly Madison has found new love -- on Twitter! Who knew 140 characters could be the start of something special?

The reality star started talking to new boyfriend Jack Barakat through the social networking site after being introduced by friends, according to E! Online.

"We met through a mutual friend and then somehow somebody retweeted something funny he said on Twitter," she said. "So I started following him and then we started tweeting each other back and forth!"

The flirtation then progressed to direct messages and led to the pair exchanging numbers.

"We were texting for months, and finally when I had my vacation, I was like, 'Do you wanna come out hang out with me?' and he did and we hit it off right away," Madison said.

Her former Playboy Mansion roommate Bridget Marquardt has already given her stamp of approval.

"He's a really nice guy," she told E! "He's really, really sweet, and they were so cute, all snuggly and kissy and lots of PDA."

And it seems Madison isn't the only one from Playboy moving on. Her longtime ex and Playboy founder, Hugh Hefer, got engaged to Crystal Harris during the holidays.

The 'Holly's World' star, who dated Hefner for more than six years before breaking things off in 2008, recently opened up to Life & Style magazine about his speedy relationship.

"I'd like to see Hef settle down," she told the magazine. "I just want it to be with the right person, and I feel like he's making a hasty decision. I'm not sure Crystal is the best thing for him."
