Sandra Bullock Not Blindsided by Jesse James' Engagement

While the rest of America shook their heads in surprise at the swift engagement between Jesse James and his girlfriend of six months, Kat Von D, one woman took it all in stride: Jesse's ex, Sandra Bullock.

Sources close to Sandy tell PopEater that she was given a heads up that this would come out this week and that while she isn't exactly jumping for joy, she has accepted that Jesse is moving on with his life with Kat. Sandra's biggest priority right now is her adopted son, Louis, and she isn't planning to let anything get her off course from being the best mom she can be.

"It may seem like only yesterday that Jesse and Sandra split, but for her, life has changed so much that it seems like ages ago," our source tells us.

While Sandra and Jesse aren't exactly close friends, they do have ways to keep information flowing between the two of them, and our source says that Jesse knew he needed to let Sandra know that things between him and Kat were serious.

"Sandra knew it was coming, and she was ready," our source says.

It does seem like tattoo queen Kat is a much better match for bad boy Jesse James than the buttoned-up Academy Award winner was. Jesse reiterated that sentiment in a statement about his future wife: "2010 was actually the best year of my life because I fell in love with my best friend," he said.

You are right, and she deservse it she is nothing but a selfish .itch don't care about nothing but herself. i stopped watching her show a long time ago because she treats ppl like crap!!!

My goodness, why would someone so beautiful put all those hideous tattoos on her body? If this guy found someone else to marry so quickly, it just shows that there wasn't a lot of pain(on his part)over the divorce. The divorce was probably exactly what he wanted. Who knows, it's been said that he's a racist, so perhaps he was pissed off because he knew thatSandra was going to adopt a black child. Either way, good riddance to bad rubbish.

You have a point Marisol but Kat is biracial. Her mother is Mexican & father is White. Unless he is only racist against Black People only.

@Shell, I know what you're saying but Mexican is not a race. If you say that they are different from different ethnic background I would agree. As for the baby, yes it is said that he is racist towards black. He has a redneck/hillbilly background.

'The divorce is probably what he wanted'. Better yet, we alllll know he married Bullock, not for the 'til death do you part' part, he married her (used her) for the ramping up of the (his) public visibility factor on her cash cow coattails. They both (Bullock AND James) deserve what they got. A much lowered level of public respect.

I really like Sandra Bullock, always have, but why in the world whites want to go out of their way to adopt a black child when there is so many of their own race that are needy and wanting, is beyond me. Quite frankly, and for whatever it's worth, she fell slightly in my estimation with this adaption. I don't know what these whites are trying to prove to the world.

i totally agree . if they both didnt have such bad reps at dating and marriage i would say it was a match made in heaven but clearly both of them have issues. ive never in my life fallin in love as much as these 2 have claimed 2 in the last few yrs with people lol

Kat is not bi-racial. She was born in Mexico, came here at four. Both her parents were born in Argentina. She's a full on latina who was raised in San Bernardino CA. Far from bi-racial.

ummm dont know if u have tattoos and smoke(cigs)and ur giving props or your just dumb! i'm a single mom of 2 have some tattoos and i smoke cigs,have a great job, own my own home and provide for my kids by myself... it dont matter if ur covered from head to toe with tattoos and smoke 2 pks aday thats NOT what makes u a good mom and wife! its how u raise ur kids! how u care for ur kids!
