Sandra Bullock Not Blindsided by Jesse James' Engagement

While the rest of America shook their heads in surprise at the swift engagement between Jesse James and his girlfriend of six months, Kat Von D, one woman took it all in stride: Jesse's ex, Sandra Bullock.

Sources close to Sandy tell PopEater that she was given a heads up that this would come out this week and that while she isn't exactly jumping for joy, she has accepted that Jesse is moving on with his life with Kat. Sandra's biggest priority right now is her adopted son, Louis, and she isn't planning to let anything get her off course from being the best mom she can be.

"It may seem like only yesterday that Jesse and Sandra split, but for her, life has changed so much that it seems like ages ago," our source tells us.

While Sandra and Jesse aren't exactly close friends, they do have ways to keep information flowing between the two of them, and our source says that Jesse knew he needed to let Sandra know that things between him and Kat were serious.

"Sandra knew it was coming, and she was ready," our source says.

It does seem like tattoo queen Kat is a much better match for bad boy Jesse James than the buttoned-up Academy Award winner was. Jesse reiterated that sentiment in a statement about his future wife: "2010 was actually the best year of my life because I fell in love with my best friend," he said.

I always thought the Jesse James haters were over zealous. I
did not like what he did but that was between him and Sandra. Sandra obviously did not want him back. I can see why someone showing him a little sympathy would steal his heart. It must have been hard to have been the most hated man in America. He was not a killer or rapist. I wish him the best.

Oh my life never dissapoints me. I never get agast by things that happen anymore. Sandra God has blessed you continously, first with Jessie ( It was Rotten)but you had found love I believe he loved you and you loved him. He was just no good for you. Secondly God gave you another blessing that you take care of, own youre own. (Baby Louie and he has brought you so much love, and joy in youre time sorrow.) He also gave you the ability again to love unconditional with Louie. Thirdly God, along with youre fans, friends, fellow actors and actresses Love you and appreciate youre art. It made me happy to see you happy in the mist of all this. Keep it moving Sandy.

I like how he is moving on, what's wrong with that. I like Sandra Bullock, but you never really know just what was going on. He did not try and take her to the cleaners or has he bad mouthed her in any way [witch is rare in Hollywood] so she should see him as a guy that made a mistake for hurting her except his apologies and move on. I wish him well.

The sad part is, if anything goes wrong in the marriage there will be little sympathy for Kat b/c most of Jesse James' dirty laundry has been aired in the media. So, Kat has been forewarned as to the type of man she is marrying. People can change, but it is doubtful that he changed that much in 6 months.

What kills me is that Kat really believes he's changed. This will be his FOURTH marriage and he's cheated on all of them. What makes her think this will be any different? I'd also like to add that in every single picture I have seen of the two of them, she looks happy and is clinging to him... and he looks stiff and miserable. He's so enthusiastic in his twitter about how wonderful Kat is and how he's so in love, like he's really trying to convince people... including himself.

I hope that people realize just six years ago Mr. James said he found his soul mate/best friend in Ms. Bullock. I would ask the next to be Mrs. James to really think about what she is doing. Once a man strays he will continually stray.

He goes on TV to declare his love and respect for Ms. Bullock and then sleeps with you at night. It seems a little weird to me. Please wait....and see if he changed any. He moved his entire family to be near Ms. Bullock. This is a slap in her face and it could be him jerking you around.
