Joan Rivers on Tommy Lee Jones: 'He Makes Hitler Look Warm and Fuzzy'

Joan Rivers is just a friend-making machine this week, right? She got herself dumped from FOX News after saying critics were right to blame Sarah Palin for the Tucson tragedy, and then she announced to me that she regretted ever voting for Sarah's "terrible daughter" Bristol on 'Dancing With the Stars.' "I should've voted for David Hasselhoff. They both sucked as dancers."

The comedy icon didn't stop there on my HDNet show, 'Naughty But Nice With Rob,' and she entertained us with her thoughts on the nicest and nastiest celebs out there. Nice? Tom Hanks and Nicole Kidman, surprisingly. Meanest? Without hesitation, Tommy Lee Jones, whom Joan and Melissa had nothing but H-bomb-throwing scorn for.

"He makes Hitler look warm and fuzzy," Joan said. "The man is a nightmare," Melissa agreed.

Joan and Melissa sat down with me to promote their brilliant new show, 'Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?' which premieres Jan. 25 at 9PM on WE TV. On the show, cameras follow the ultimate New Yorker when she decides to move to California to be with Melissa and grandson Cooper. She has no idea that Melissa has a live-in boyfriend, Jason, and that's not even the biggest surprise when this mother and daughter move in together!

I'm sure of it. I can not divulge which ranch as that would give up my source. The crews were put up in Marfa, TX for "No Country for Old Men" which is about 40 miles from the ranch in particular.

I have no idea if TLJ is a jerk or not,but Joan is right about Sarah Palin. She and her hate-spewing buddies at FOX are absolutely to blame for the rampage that happened in Arizona. All it takes is for one deranged loser with a gun to hear that kind of rhetoric and you get what happened.

Years and years ago, Joan used to be mildly funny...now she's just a caustic, overbearning, self-loving, green with envy, abrasive shrew. I wonder if it will ever occur to her that maybe Tommy Lee Jones was cold to her because he, like most of us, doesn't appreciate her sense of humor. That her daughter is exactly like her is just plain sad.
