Kelsey Grammer's Daughter Spencer Gets Engaged

Kelsey Grammer is not only rushing his divorce in order to walk down the aisle with Kayte Walsh, he's about to take on another nuptial role: father of the bride!

Spencer Grammer, 27, has confirmed that she and boyfriend James Hesketh are engaged.

According to a Life & Style source, "Spencer is so excited to marry. ... Rather than a traditional engagement ring, James gave her a claddagh ring [a traditional Irish ring]. It's very simple, but very beautiful."

Don't be surpised if Camille Grammer, the 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star currently embroiled in a split with Kelsey Grammer, ends up having no comment on the news. The future bride, who stars on ABC Family's 'Greek,' is Kelsey's daughter with his first wife, Doreen Alderman. Dad and daughter are reportedly both based in New York City these days, where Spencer attends college and her father stars in 'La Cage Aux Folles' on Broadway.

According to an insider, "Camille and Spencer had no relationship. ... And Spencer and her father are closer than ever since he split with Camille."

In a recent interview with David Letterman, Kelsey said, "Kayte's my new girl, and we're planning to get married soon." And although his divorce from Camille -- mother of his two youngest children -- may cost him in the neighborhood of $50 million, the 55-year-old Emmy winner reportedly isn't inclined to sign a prenup with his 29-year-old fiancee.

"Kelsey doesn't care about the money," a friend of the star told PopEater recently. "He never has. This is about being happy."

Anyone being with someone young enough to be their child is (IMO) DISGUSTING. Impregnating and marrying someone 2 years older than his daughter......sick. Congratulations to Spencer -- I hope her track record will be much better than her father's. I would be *mortified* if my Dad ever dated/married someone my own age.

Spencer also appears on Greeks. She is really good in that show which is hilarious. Best of luck to her, even if I am not a fan of her father or his soon to be ex.

I don't know-- kelsey has a lot of problems--if the real housewives of BH is a fair portrayal of camille- i don't blame kelsey for wanting to move on--camille is truly self centered and vindictive.
But he chose to marry her in the first place- seems as if his choices are terrible to begin with- is number 3 any better?

Kelsey doesn't care about money is nonesense, especially since the royalties he receives from "Cheers" is more than enough to carry him through life. What I don't understand is how these advertisers justify the high costs of advertising on TV, which in tun is why the exhorbitanty amouts of money these actors get. Even contestants now are called stars and receive appropriate payments. I was shocked to learn that contestants ob "Dancing with the Stars," get such great amounts of money per week while they are on the program.

Although I agree Camille presents herself as a self-serving twit, nonetheless, HE married her and his track record proves he doesn't value marriage so why bother with yet another one? No matter what, he cheated and he is wrong. He obviously is proving that he is just as self serving as his stbx by pursuing yet another relationship and bringing yet another child into the world WHILE he is still married all in the name of "being happy: 4 marriages.....geez, give me a break. Poor kids. Yours, mine, his, hers, theirs....wtf????

Kelsy what is the rush for? I think you should get to know each other better then get married. What gets me is this new girl is such in a rush to! Hm thats not normal unless she is in it for one thing MONEY!!! Kelsy this girl is just interested in what she can get stop being a SUCKER. I hope you meant what you said its not about MONEY because she is going to take everything you have and leave you in a nursing home.

With the right amount of makeup, the perfect fitting dress, perfect dye jo and the best possible photographic angle and right lighting she is slightly better than homely looking. All that effort for "plain" probably isn't worth the effort in this case.
