Bristol Palin Has a New Boyfriend, Wants Levi to Sign Over His Parental Rights

Bristol Palin has a new boyfriend, and while the 'Dancing With the Stars' alum declined to name her new beau, she said she's "thrilled."

The 20-year-old daughter of former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin gushed about her new life in Arizona in a radio interview Monday morning, saying, "I love the town that I live in. I love my house. Tripp's happy. He's healthy."

Bristol admitted she's asked her ex-boyfriend Levi Johnston to sign away his parental rights to their 2-year-old son. "Have I asked him to change Tripp's last name? Of course," she quipped. "I've asked him to do that many times. Just sign over your (parental) rights. He just doesn't want to sign them over because it looks bad on paper."

She added that since her stint on 'Dancing With the Stars' Levi has "seen (Tripp) at most three times," and each visit lasted only a few hours. Bristol also brought up the possibility of a career in radio.

Hey Januali...you criticize me as one of 'those people' who have formed an opinion about this family who has spent the last two years in the spotlight but don't really know them. Then you go on to say that none of 'us people' has done well within our own families. You don't know the first thing about me...can you appreciate the hypocrasy? I certainly can.

I expect the Palin haters have one or more children by different fathers, and probably 1/2 or more have killed their babies via abortion. Bristol's fine, she will have a very successful life. Krispy Kreme is open for you Palin haters!

Of course Levi has only seen his son 2 or 3 times. They're in 2 different states. I highly doubt that Bristol has even offered to pay for him to fly down. If she really wanted him (Levi) to be a part, then she wouldn't have moved out of state. And has anyone actually listened to that conversation? My 9 year shows more emotion and inflection while speaking than Bristol. I wonder though: as she had her latest pregnancy yet?

Levi should pay his own way to see his son. Why should a mother have to pay a father's way to see his child? He has plenty of money to fly and most likely the distance he will use as an excuse. He's a jerk and I'm sure the boy is better off without Levi in his life.

Why should she pay his way??? I hope all you moms out there are proud of the way you speak about a young woman who is only trying to support herself & her son. You women who probably have daughters of your own are so hateful. To have that much hate indicates a much greater problem. I feel sorry for all of you & your own children. They will grow up to judge people the way you do with anger & hate. No wonder we have such a problem with bullying, it starts at home with the parents. Pretty sad excuse for parents.

She's not changing it to her boyfriend's last name. She's changing it to Palin. Once she gets it changed, it will probably always be Palin, just like she will probably always keep her maiden name.
