Bristol Palin Has a New Boyfriend, Wants Levi to Sign Over His Parental Rights

Bristol Palin has a new boyfriend, and while the 'Dancing With the Stars' alum declined to name her new beau, she said she's "thrilled."

The 20-year-old daughter of former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin gushed about her new life in Arizona in a radio interview Monday morning, saying, "I love the town that I live in. I love my house. Tripp's happy. He's healthy."

Bristol admitted she's asked her ex-boyfriend Levi Johnston to sign away his parental rights to their 2-year-old son. "Have I asked him to change Tripp's last name? Of course," she quipped. "I've asked him to do that many times. Just sign over your (parental) rights. He just doesn't want to sign them over because it looks bad on paper."

She added that since her stint on 'Dancing With the Stars' Levi has "seen (Tripp) at most three times," and each visit lasted only a few hours. Bristol also brought up the possibility of a career in radio.

I am so sick of this hate Palin craze that is going around. If you don't like her conservative points of view. Fine this is America have a debate about it. Is the real truth that deep down you know that Sarah Palin is right?? Palin 2012.
I'm very proud of Ms. Bristol she was a 16 old who feel in love with jerk and made a mistake, as all young people do, and has made steps to correct that mistake.She is living off mama welfare?? What??!!? Sarah Palin is her mother of course she will support her child. That is what some parents do for their children.
Levi is the father of that child, and he should be supporting that child. Does anyone know if he is paying child support? Why not give up his parental rights if he is not seeing or supporting his child. Why not make it official.

She never talks about her first child, Trig. Why are they still playing it was Sarah that had him? Denying your child is perhaps the worst thing a mother could do. Perhaps she should give up parental rights to Tripp as she has with Trig.

Trig is Sarah's son, not Bristol's.Sarah is the one who gave birth to Trig. Bristol gave birth to Tripp. That is old news.

good for her. she is not much to look at but she has those big pretty thighs. she is trying to work. she is just like everybody else she needs to make a living.

I do not understand the Palin family. Why would any mother want the father to sign over their rights? Levi will grow up and may be a good father. The Palin always have to attack anyone that does not do what they want. Bristol said a big middle finger to all the people that dislike her mother....does she really not understand why they do not care about her mother? Why did she leave her close knit family in Alaska to move so far away from them and Levi? I feel for her for she is still very young.

I listen to the radio interview of Bristol Palin and not only sounded like a twenty years old young single mother, but she also sounded very mature for her age. She has had a great upbringing with parents such as Todd and Sarah Palin, and I am sure she will do well in her furture endeavors.

I believe when a parent is not supporting the child, they lose some parental rights. BTW: Bristol did not take the child out of the country, just to another state. Where is the criticizm for Levi? Seems a parent neglecting their child, not supporting the child should garner some criticizm. Maybe half of what Bristol receives for caring, supporting, 24/7 nurturing of the child???
