Kourtney Finds Kim's 'Single Girl Mode' Exhausting

I caught up with Kim and Kourtney Kardashian backstage at the 'Today' show and got the skinny on their new show, 'Kourtney and Kim Take New York,' and more importantly, whether they prefer West Coast or East Coast guys.

"Guys in LA think they're really cool, but guys in New York are really cool," they said.

Kourtney told me that when they (temporarily) moved to NYC to open up their new Dash boutique and tape their E! show, Kim was in "single girl mode" and "ready to hit the town" and party. But new mom Kourtney would ditch her sister as soon as Kim's friends would show up.

"I get it, she has a new baby and kinda wanted to chill out, so it was kind of selfish of me to try and pull her out every night," Kim told me.

The new spinoff show follows Kourtney and Kim in New York City, where they open their new Dash clothing boutique with all the drama and fun that only the Kardashians can bring. As you may have noticed, younger sister Khloe opted out of this one.

"She didn't want to come, actually," Kourtney revealed. "She wanted to be home with Lamar [Odom, her husband] and wasn't interested in everything that it takes to open a store."

'Kourtney and Kim Take New York' airs Sundays at 10PM EST, only on E!

I find Kourtney very irritaitng, and wonder why she "wants" one of her sisters around, then behaves like they are supposed to be there to "serve" her. She needs to either be with Scott or be with a sister, but she ins not cut out for both

Too funny, opening a store that never does any sales. Everyone knows their lines have been panned by fashion experts and their store is just a front for the show. They are drowning in debt and getting sued all over the place. Hopefully we will be rid of them soon.

Hi. I LOVE the pale pink lip gloss or lipstick that Kim was wearing on Sunday nights episode of Kourtney and Kim Take New York. It was when she had her hair in a pony-tail and was sitting on the bed in a ivory/light camel-tan colored sweater. she was talking on the phone i think and she had on the best pink lip gloss EVER. can you please tell me the brand and name of the particular lipstick. I really want it. thanks!!
