Razzie Nominations Target Jennifer Aniston and Robert Pattinson

The Razzie nominations dropped this morning, and stars like Jennifer Aniston, Robert Pattinson and Miley Cyrus have big, fat targets on their backs as some of the cantankerous committee's least favorite actors of the year. The 31st Annual Razzies also have sights set on movies like 'The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,' 'The Last Airbender' and 'Sex and the City 2.'

Our pals at Moviefone opine that the Razzie committee's picks "seem to be either a) high-profile 'fish in a barrel' nominees, or b) a bunch of movies and stars that are bad, sure, but are mainly popular enough to generate some fan-based outrage -- and therefore more attention for the Razzies as a whole."

Looks like they're just going for easy targets. While not good by any means, Eclipse and Sex 2 are hardly the worst of the year. And while Aniston's schtick is getting old and Cher is just old, their performances are by no means the worst of the year.

Eclispe was not good. Hype got a lot of people out to the theaters to see it. I feel Breaking Dawn will be a let down to. Funny how they already started hyping it before they even finish shooting it.

The Razzies stopped being relevant when they started giving Razzie's to films that were clear fan favorites, simply to generate controversy and web views. The Razzie's started out going only to performers or films that were truly terrible. Now they give a Razzie to any actor or film that is fortunate enough to garner mainstream popularity, basically spitting in the faces of millions of movie-goers. They know what they can do with their "award", and it isn't pleasant.

Perfect picks this year ,just because fans love a movie or movie series that doesn't mean its good.For example f you want to see a good vampire story watch the old Dark Shadows or wait for the new version with Johnny Deep . Eclipse Saga = crap , Vampire Diaries = crap ( how could the WB turn down a revamped version of Dark Shadows for this schlock ) .I am reminded of one of the WB'S good shows Supernatural...where the two main characters are in a teenage girls room loaded with Eclipse/Vampire Diaries type posters and merchandise and the one character named Dean points at a poster and says " Vampires ? those aren't vampires those are douches!!!!"

You can tell straight guys don't make these picks, cuz no way they'd diss on as juicy a young piece as Miley Cyrus.

Well gay guys didn't make the list either, because they wouldn't diss on Sex 2, Cher, Liza or Babs.

Just because she is your favorite don't mean her movie are not cr@p. Theaters with her movies showing are empty. She is the worst actress these days. I use to like her movies but I have grown so tired of them. Any way I think Jen would love to get one.
The Twilight movie are a cr@p feat to. Teens keep them floating but the saga is still not good at all and deserve a razzie.

Miley was not the bad in the Last Song, but I agree The Bounty Hunter was god awful, Jen better step it up, she's failing miserably, why is she still getting the big money, all she has had are flops.!

I was surprised at the picks this year. I don't get out to the movies much, but half of those were on my list. My sister and I tend to like chick flix, and the Bounty Hunter wasn't all that bad, it was what it was. I loved Valentines Day AND Killers, I own them both. And the last song was a good one that I watched with my daughter who is a Miley fan. I realize it's all fluff, but some of us like corny every now and then.

Have to agree with Dan. Aniston is pitiful and can't act her way out of a paper bag and nobody would have looked at her twice if Daddy hadn't gotten her in. She was okay as Rachel b/c she is Rachel. She needs to retire and stop showing off her 6 hr/day work-out body - Brad isn't looking honey - that ship has sailed!

I disagree about Rob. I think he has some acting chops and he is in it for the long haul.

Cher is making a fool of herself in those ridiculous outfits. She is OLD (I am 63 and I'm old). She looks like one of those people in the Walmart emails. Retire honey - you've earned it.

P.S. Nobody on this blog is jealous of Jennifer. Who would want her empty life?
