Sandra Preps Stepdaughter, Sunny, for a Third Mom

Now that Sandra Bullock's cheating ex, Jesse James, is engaged to Kat Von D and getting remarried as early as next month, the actress has the heartbreaking task of preparing her beloved stepdaughter, Sunny, for another mommy in her life.

"Sandra loves Sunny with all her heart and will always be in her life. However, she also knows that [Sunny] will have a new mommy soon and will do whatever she needs to do to make sure Jesse's new wife and Sunny have a great relationship even if that means taking a step away," a friend of the actress tells me.

Jesse was granted full custody of 6-year-old Sunny while he was still married to Sandra after her mother, former porn star Janine Lindemulder, was jailed for tax evasion. Sandra was instrumental in that court decision, telling the court she considered Sunny to be her own daughter.

"Sandra thought Jesse would never be able to hurt her again, but she was wrong," an insider tells me. "When Jesse was in rehab it was Sandy who was a mother to his little girl. Despite what Jesse did, Sandra never walked away from Sunny."

But now Sandra has the awkward task of prepping Sunny for her third mother figure in less than a year.

"She has given that sweet child nothing but love," my source says. "As difficult as this will be, once again Sandra will prove what a lady she is."

OMG! I just can't imagine that Kat being a mom. She will probably have to tatoo the kids or have them hairless to be able to have a relationship with them - just my opinion.

@nuddermudder: You make it sound like the father that's like Jesse James was the only one who created that child. Perhaps if you taught your daughter some self-worth, you wouldn't be raising HER child. Maybe you should place some blame on your daughter for not thinking enough of herself to not only stay away from creeps like JJ, but not to spread her legs for one. Don't blame the guy. Most guys will take it wherever they can get it. Your daughter is not blameless.

This story just shows how a "nice girl" can get sucked down by someone like Jesse. First wife in jail for tax evasion and an ex porn star, and the latter didn't put Sandra off him at all (she really was in love!). I feel sorry for the little girl in this, she is just being treated like a piece of chattel. I have no doubt Sandra loves her, but she can't legally keep her, so now off goes the child to Dad and soon to be wife (and I have no doubt in the next couple of years soon to be EX wife) Kat. I just wish more people would value their marriages and I'm NOT a granny, I'm just old school. My vows means something to me and my kids mean everything to me and I'd do anything to protect and keep them safe. Good luck with Louis, Sandra, you deserve a future full of happiness and I hope you find it!

Jivenjingle- You need to learn that you cannot constantly blame the Woman. Men have and need to take a personal responsibility too. This is the problem with the way guys like you think. It's ALWAYS someone's fault and responsibility but the man's. This is probably why these types of men are never happy and satisfied and are too stupid and self serving to look at themselves for any blame.

I feel so badly that those children are stuck with the father they have. He has no idea of what it takes to be a role model to his children .Other than Sandra look what he chooses to be a mother figure in their lives. Sandra always let them know your heart is open to them because in the long run you are the only stability they will have going forth.

She may not be her stepmother anymore but shes been her mother for a number of years... you dont have to be related by marriage or blood to be a mother to a child. This little girl loves her and is happy with her. She should stay with her.

I agree with Lily!!! Too bad Sandra couldn't fight for the right to raise this beautiful little girl herself... Jesse is an idiot and Kat is a tattoo junky that looks absolutely ugly with her body covered in them.... Sandra has been a wonderful mother to her and provided her with security that her father and birth mother haven't been able to provide... I think if I was Sandra I would find out what my rights are.... She does have them even if no one here agrees with it!
