Tiffany Outs 'NKOTB' Member Jonathan Knight

Rumors have surfaced in the past regarding New Kids on the Block member Jonathan Knight's sexuality, but the pop performer has never admitted to being gay.

However, '80s teen queen Tiffany told millions of TV viewers last Thursday that Knight indeed is gay.

Tiffany appeared on Bravo's 'Watch What Happens: Live,' alongside Debbie Gibson, to discuss their roles in the upcoming Syfy original movie, 'Mega Python vs. Gatoroid,' premiering Jan. 29.

During their sit down, host Andy Cohen asked Tiffany if she had cozied up with any of the NKOTB boys back in her days as a touring mall songstress. Her response: Jonathan Knight.

"The quiet one, the shy one," Tiffany admitted. "[Jonathan Knight] became gay later. I didn't do it. I had issues with that. I was thinking maybe I did. Now looking back when we were dating, he was so much fun. We used to do facials together. He was so easy to talk to."

No statement from Knight has been released yet regarding Tiffany's controversial remarks.

Whether someone is gay or not is VERY personal and should only be shared by them, to whoever they feel they want to share it with. Tiffany was wrong to say this on TV, and I have to say you can't share that "by accident", so maybe there was some spite to it too. Shame on her for thinking she has the right to talk about someone else's preferences. She could just as easily had said she cozied up to him, but it didn't work out and left it at that!

What's the big deal, if being a homosexual is nothing to be ashamed of why would anyone care if anyone knows. If homosexual and black are the same (which some claim) you never see a black person saying 'ooooooh dont tell anyone im black'. If being a homosexual is something to be proud of then why do we have all these people 'hiding in the closet'?

It appears that you just don't see or get as to why people hide in the closet. People fear losing their jobs, their families and their lives. People will go as far as to kill someone who even may be suspected gay. There is a lot of hatred toward people who are different from themselves. It's called fear.

That is why Travolta stays hidden in the closet. And oh, don't say anything about Tom Cruise, he'll turn around and sue you. It's a major problem.

It was not her business to say. It is up to the person who is gay, to reveal it and not to Tiffany who has her own dirt to be careful about. Tiffany your are a bee, for saying that.

You (fivemillion)are an idiot of epic proportions. Gay is the same as being black? Where in the world did you get that? You can look at someone (most of the time) and tell that he/she is black, but unless someone is just blatant about it, how exactly are you supposed to tell he/she is gay?

Maybe Gail does have some inside info. Vinnie Barbarino lifts his head from Gail's boyfriend's lap. He looks deeply into Gail's eyes and demurely wipes his lips with the back of his hand and says, "Don't worry baby, we're not gay... just curious.
