Report: 'Jersey Shore' Cast to Film Season Four in Italy

As 'Jersey Shore' prepares to film its fourth season, the cast is reportedly getting booted from the U.S. and will bring their fist pumps and drunken antics to Italy. Sources connected to the show told TMZ that MTV has been scouting locations in Italy.

Producers started lining up visas for the cast and crew two months ago, but filming in Italy is contingent on the government letting them into the country to film. The show's executives are even in talks with cast member Vinny Guadagnino's Italian relatives for a few episodes, so they can host an authentic dinner for the 'Shore' stars.

This won't be the first time the cast left Seaside Heights. Last season, the cast got down and dirty in Miami.

The move will likely stir controversy, as the show deals heavily with Italian-American stereotypes. When 'Jersey Shore' debuted, one Italian-American group protested the show as portraying Italian-Americans in a negative way, but the controversy died down.

Hollywood Life reported early this month that the new season will begin filming this May.

Paulie is a good kid! we had a lot of fun in Las Vegas this past summer (2010), going to the Palms was a blast hanging at club moon! we went to a great party Memorial Day weekend! I am not sure why MTV continues to invest in this show. It's nice to think that the fans find the show fun and entertaining; but I do not see how it can be of any interest to anyone especially since all we see are these so called young people getting paid to have crazy drama fued fights. If the Jersey Shore is going to be popular at least show in some episodes that the cast is being responsible for their actions. They are not. I feel this has started trend where it is OK for young people to act out all their drama or air their dirty laundry on T.V. and not have any consequences for what they do. It's bad taste and it shows how some of our men and women are willing to stoop to such levels to gain acceptance....for what you might say....nothing.

If the Jersey Shore is going to Italy I think it would be a wonderful idea if they stay there forever. They are such POOR representatives of New Jersey in fact I've been told by my sister-in-law who lives in NJ that several of them don't even live in New Jersey but live in Pennsylvania. Go back to Penssy & stay there.
