On Wednesday night's 'Conan,' Jon Cryer told the late-night host what it's like working with his 'Two and a Half Men' co-star Charlie Sheen."It's always a little weird," Cryer admitted. "Because the stuff you hear is just unbelievable." The actor joked that he's "checking TMZ, as I do every day, to know if I have to go to work at all."
"There was a story that they found Charlie's car at the bottom of a cliff. So you're thinking, 'Wow, sure hope Charlie's okay,'" he said. "And he comes into work, and it's like, 'Hey Charlie, how's it going man?'"
Cryer said he checked Sheen for scratches after imagining his co-star had "crashed the car, and then clawed his way back up the cliff." In reality, Sheen told him he was "doing OK" except for the fact "someone stole my car, and ran it off a cliff last night."
"Normally, you would not believe that from someone," Cryer said. "But from Charlie Sheen, you believe that. ... Because that happened to him twice. That actually happened."

What can Jon Cryer really say? Charlie is his bread and butter.

Ur rite, he say NOTHING. It seems that Charlie never misses work, but he should really take care of himself. Hopefully he won't be found dead soon. Not looking too good rite now.
Actually, Jon Cryer and the rest of the cast, and the writers, and the crew are Sheens bread and butter.
Actually, I agree with dnkrpd, Cryer is Sheen's bread and butter. Cryer's talent is in his delivery. You see it in his face. Cryer simply has a natural character approach. Not only is it refreshing in every episode, I can see where Cryer has evolved since the show began and I don't think he's been given enough credit.
Could the show make it without the physical presence of Charlie? They've been doing that all along with the rest of the cast...adios Charlie. No loss.
Actually, Cryer is awesome himself.
Love this show and the cast. Hope things will get better for Charlie.

cryer is so good , name me something else that he has done where he has made this much money or got these reviews. sheen has worked a ton. thanks to sheen, cyer is crying all the way to the bank
Charlie Sheen is an Idiot! Maybe if the show wasn't based on how many women Charlie can lay, Jon Would have a chance at doing the show with another actor. Sheen is just throwing his life and career away, He used to be HOT, when he was younger, before he got into all that parting and womanizing but now he looks like an old dog. Yuk!

UHMMMMM, it wouldn't be the same show if Jon filmed it with someone else...... Charlie is the show. Whether anyone likes it or not.
You go Johhny boy, protect that pay check. Hmmm maybe the story line is true and you need to mooch off of your brother.Except for Rose and Berta the show is dead. Give it up guys, the kid is to big, Charlie is a bum and Alan cant figure out if he is gay or not

Can't get enough of Two and a Half Men. I don't believe that Charlie is the only one holding this show together. I love Berta, Rose, Charlie and Alan and without any of these in the mix, the show would not be the same. Their paychecks should all be the same. No one is the "star" of the show!!
Why in theworld would he just waste his life away? He made a gazillion dollars to do this show and the way he is going he will be dead before he can spend any of it. Wake up Charlie and be a man.

Because he is an ADDICT. And lately he has been exhibiting what AA calls "wet brain" : neurological damage due to his drinking and drug use. He is paranoid, delusional, totally unable to make sense. He is also showing signs of physical deterioration. And its anyones guess about what STDs he's carrying around.
I think if Charlie would start to take care of his drinking problem everything else would fall in place.I had a problem drinking too but thanks to aa I have not had a drink since 1971 40 years and it changed my whole life. Try it Charlie and just hang in there buddy. Good luck and God bless you. Paul

Yes, Jon has to choose his words about Charlie carefully for now. Charlie is Jon's pay check, and Jon cant say what he really knows, or thinks about Charlie.
I bet Jon could write a entire book now, about all of the things he has seen and knows about Charlie.
But Jon has to keep quiet for now, if he really likes Charlie, Jon will be quiet forever about him.

Charlie is Jon's pay check, but I think Cryer is much more decent than Sheene. Sheene is very self centered. A man with small children should be behaving better. Shame on him!!
Of course he's not going to say something awful; he knows who is the highest paid actor on the block, and it isn't Cryer; even if he acts indignant on the show; he's an actor and an employed one, too.
Besides, it's a funny show and I have watched most of them as they are carried on the Fox station and the FX, too. they are funny. The characters are real pros; as Holland Taylor and the Rose character (Lynsky) and the Gordon, (pizza deliveryman)...it's funny all around.
Why is it when he portrays a drunken womanizer on tv its funnier than crap. But when he does it in real life he is an idiot. Maybe he just doesn't know when the show ends and real life begins.

or maybe life imitates " art"...or versa-visca..... so - it's ok on tv , but not "real life".. are you serious ? there is more reality in life, than whatever may or may not be shown on tv.! i spit on you pttha
I will not watch the show Charlie Sheen. I know for a fact that I'm not the only one who feels this way. He is good and he is the one who makes the show, why would you pull him off, he already stated that the was never high or drunk while on the job. I believe that, he is good. Sorry CBS made this decision, I hope that they think about this wrong decision.

I watch Two and a Half Men whenever it's on. I think it's one of the funniest shows I have ever seen. Unfortunately, with Charlie acting out, he has pretty much killed the show. It's a shame that Charlie doesn't seem to care about anyone but himself. All he wants is the next drink, the next woman or the next drug. What a shame Charlie. I'm going to miss the show.
