Charlie Sheen Hospitalized, In Serious Condition

Charlie Sheen was hospitalized Thursday at 7AM, rushed by ambulance to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. TMZ reports Sheen was taken from his house on a stretcher.

"Two young women exited the house at the same time Charlie was taken out with a towel partially over his face," TMZ writes. A 911 call was placed at 6:35AM.

TMZ's sources say the 45-year-old 'Two and a Half Men' star was having severe abdominal pains, leading to his hospitalization. Sheen's publicist Stan Rosenfield tells TMZ Sheen was sleeping in the ER on Thursday morning.

Update: TMZ's insiders say Sheen was having a "wild" marathon party with five women prior to the incident. A source at the hospital calls Sheen's situation "serious," and parents Martin Sheen and Janet Templeton and ex-wife Denise Richards are there.

TMZ also reports that prior to the actor's hospitalization, a person showed up to Sheen's house with a designer "briefcase" containing multiple bricks of cocaine. Sheen reportedly began doing the drug for several hours. His rep says, "I can't comment because I have no idea if it's true. You choose to believe your source, I don't."

The site now claims it was a hernia that sent Sheen to the hospital and not an overdose.

One of the women Sheen was partying with was reportedly porn star Kacey Jordan, who was specifically requested to attend Sheen's shindig. Sources tell TMZ that Sheen said he had been "searching for her for a year" and greeted her wearing a wine-stained shirt.

Sheen was previously hospitalized in October 2010 at the tail-end of a night with adult film star Capri Anderson. Authorities found Sheen drunk and naked, having badly damaged his surroundings at the Plaza Hotel in a fit of rage.

Amazing,this guy has shot someone, tried to kill his wife and other women, torn up half the hotels all over the country and he keeps on going. Yet Mel Gibson, who has done less than half of that has been blacklisted. SO ARE YOU ALL PREJUDICED AGAINST MEL AND NOT THIS FOOL, WHO WILL KILL HIMSELF OR SOMEBODY.

I think he has some serious hangups with sex, drinking, and all night parties. He has to slow down or stop or he may end up dead. I hope he gets some mental help, or some help from AA or NA.

I don't think the producers care- in Hollywood any press is good press.

His agent might consider getting him help since Charlie is his/her meal ticket.

As far as his parents are concerned they know; they care; they have been through this routine with him on more than one occasion. But he has to want it.

Ditto... can anyone say intervention, or are they all just waiting around for his last breath?! The man is in trouble and it doesn't seem as though he has a support network other than a huge bank account. I am a woman and I know that men behave badly, but only when they do not have a strong anchor. Is he that much of an a-hole for someone to truly step up to the job? Does he have no redeeming qualities you people who know him and raised him and lived with him? Porn stars and hookers?... the real men and women of his life (or absent from) share some blame for where he is today. Nature, or nuture?... it is a bit of both IMO and it seems he has not had the luck of either. What a bunch of wimps who supposedly love him will not step up and challenge this man! Wimps who only want a piece of the money pie and why he is acting out...IMO
