Sir Elton John and his partner David Furnish just debuted their newborn son, Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John, to the world on the cover of Us Weekly. The couple said that "the important thing is that he's healthy and happy and loved" and that neither daddy cares if their little boy grows up to be gay or straight."Elton and David are already amazing dads," a friend of the couples tells me. "They want Zach to be happy with whoever he grows up to be. If he wants to go into showbiz or drive a truck, they don't care. They also could care less if their son grows up to fall in love with a man or a woman."
Weighing 7-pounds, 15-ounces, Zachary was born in California via a surrogate. "I think he's getting more handsome by the day," Sir Elton said, joking that babies often "look a bit like Winston Churchill, their faces all scrunched up!"
What the couple probably didn't anticipate was the kind of pushback they're receiving for simply being the Us cover boys.

I love gay's they are my best friends, but if this kid grows up and cannot stand the thought of being raised by two men,,, that would be funny. I can just imagine this kid insulting Elton.. That would be it... either the kid would be in sooo much trouble or Elton’s head would just pop off his shoulders.

My white gay friend, a man, adopted 3 black "crack babies" born from the same crack lady over a period of years. Will the black kids rebel against their white Dad? Y'know, it's all a crap shoot.

in reguards to the friend that ended up with the crack babies, i just hope for the childrens sake they are not being misused or abused sexually by who ever ended up with the kids. the state i feel should have placed these children and proscuted the crack mother for being a drugg addict and having babies. the state should make so called women get their tubes tied so this sad problem would stop happening, and put them in jail and make examples out of these type of people. Two men can not pro-create just as two women can not pro-create, therefore it is not a natural act and is wrong in the eyes of God. If it is not natural then it has to be unnatural, therefore, odd or gueer. Elton John (for some reason) has celebrity ststus and can get away with things other people are chastised for doing.
These magazine covers are FILLED with people who promote sex and violence and you are worried about two people who love a baby? Where are you when they put people who have been married 5 times and are engaged in adultry every other month???? You are being rather bible selective don't you think?
"They also could care less if their son..." means their level of care could be less. You mean to write "they couldn't care less..." meaning their level of care is zero = they couldn't have any less care.

this is my 3rd time attempting to get my post on here...they wont post it, because it is real....elton needs to get a loving, female nanny for this baby immediately, and one of the 2 daddy's back off. this baby didnt ask to have 2 daddy's and no mommy. not all the money or attention in the world will ever make up for no mommy. this little , hopefully, will have a wonderful female nanny to relate to as well, and have as a mother figure, which is CRITICAL, a child's development.

I agree. If elton does not care if his son is gay or not, all the more reason to always have a female nanny around. This child has to be able to converse with both men and woman. =While I can see why Elto would love a son he also has to realize having a female around is needed here. Suppose this child grows up straight ? I know that would not bother elton as he truly wanted a son, but this child has to know how to be at ease with females too. Best of luck to you Elton. One thing this child will never want for is security. But also balance.

I don't believe any child will grow up perfect in our, " So very Imperfect World," where most people and children are living their lives without God, Jesus and Religion. " I believe without Faith, Love and Hope, We Are All Doomed... The first thought that popped into my mind was, This Baby needs a Female in it's life, Not just two gay old men. Okay,so they are rich. There is one advantage the child has. However,being raised by 2 gay men.to me, is wrong. Being homosexual is a choice,they are not born that way. Elton is a case in that point himself.He was into girls for his entire early life. Even engaged to an English girl for somewhere around 7 years in the late 60s early 70s. The so-called suicide attempt he made in 75 that led to the song "Someone saved my life tonight" was a result of that break-up. Shortly thereafter,he told Rolling Stone he might be Bisexual. Then in 84, he got msrried to a woman for 4 years. Only after divorce and rehab did he finally claim his gayness. Homosexuals are born out of tragedy,substance abuses, emotional turmoil and emotional insecurities. This child is more than likely straight now because that is its instinct. The surroundings of his his upbringing could alter that built in behavior.And that is why gay adoption is wrong.

What exactly do u mean they are not born that way. I'm a straight male and if I were stranded on a desert island with Brad Pitt and a 70 year old overweight toothless woman, I would go for the woman. Could'nt get into Brad, period. Gay people feel the same way about their own sex.

Homosexuality is not a choice. People are born that way. Its in the chromasomes from the time of conception. That is the reason people who are gay go through confusion early in life because they know they were born into life one way, but feel another way. This is also the reason for many suicides. If people wanted to be that way then they wouldn't attempt to kill themselves because of it. Others can except it easier, those with parents and friends who don't condemn them for who they are. The only exception to homosexuality not from birth, is men or women who have done prison time and been raped by another male or female while incarcerated.

i hope the kid turns out ok. two men married and two men raising a child is not normal. i will defend their right to do it but its just not right. look at these guys do they look normal to you?
