Minka Kelly and Rachael Taylor Join 'Charlie's Angels' Reboot

Minka Kelly and Rachael Taylor will join soap opera star Annie Ilonzeh in ABC's 'Charlie's Angels' reboot. According to Deadline Hollywood, 'Friday Night Lights' star Kelly will play the character previously known as Marisa (the name will be changed), a former Marine weapons expert who is versed in all forms of hand-to-head combat.

Taylor has been tapped to play Abby, described as the youngest and sassiest of the Angels. The character has a notoriously crooked Wall Street father and is quite the con artist herself.

'General Hospital' veteran Ilonzeh will play Kate, a smart and athletic ex-cop who is also a martial arts expert.

Robert Wagner will voice the unseen Charlie. No word on who will play Bosley.

Leonard Goldberg, Drew Barrymore and Nancy Juvonen are executive producing the project. 'Smallville' veterans Alfred Gough and Miles Millar wrote the Miami-set script and will also executive produce the project.

Umm they are not hot and they are not good actresses and its on ABC..what is there to like? Seriously why remake this crap tv show again?

because they know ppl will go to see it...and they'll make an easy buck from the looks, and not necessarily the acting. lol it's the ppl that drive these writers to make brainless movies. (The "bandwagon" effect). lol

Your absolutley right which I won't be watching but it's also my right to have my opinion and express it as well as you do. If you like that kinda stuff you can watch and if you don't like it like me and what appears to be most posters we don't have to watch it. thats still good about America maybe not to much longer under Obama but at least for now we can...

It's sad really because this could have been a really fun show if they had cast it right. I mean, Minka Kelly? Really? I'm sorry, but would anybody know who she was without Derek Jeter hanging on her arm? I doubt it. She's not even that pretty. Neither are the other unknown broads they cast. I can't say I'm a fan of the movies, but at least the cast was fun to watch and had the ability to actually act. Sorry, but they lost at least one viewer here by casting unattractive, no-talent unknowns. Maybe they didn't have the money for a real cast??
