Bristol Palin won't be speaking to Washington University students about teen pregnancy and abstinence. Student protests caused the university to withdraw their invitation to Bristol, Reuters reports. The University Student Health Advisory Committee proposed the appearance as part of Student Sexual Responsibility Week and approved of spending $20,000 to sponsor the panel which would feature the 'Dancing with the Stars' alum.
But "because of the growing controversy among undergraduates over the decision to pay for the talk with student-generated funds" the committee decided it was best to cancel the abstinence advocate's appearance.
Bristol became pregnant at 17, and at 20, is now a single mom to her 2-year-old son Tripp. She's "thrilled" with her new life in Arizona, and even has a new boyfriend. Although she wasn't an abstinence practitioner during her own teenage years, she's now an outspoken advocate for waiting until marriage to have sex.
Check out Bristol's teen pregnancy prevention PSA with 'The Situation' after the break.

Who wants to hear a hillbilly talk about sex! She better get an DNA analysis because its a great chance she will have a down syndrome kid like her mother! Maybe she will stay home and care for the child!

LMAO... one more Palin in the pot. Time to flush the feces.

Paying for her with student funds has nothing to do with it. Columbia University paid for Kadaffi to speak with student funds. They pulled her speech because the liberal media brainwashing is alive and well and has moved off the Bush target somewhat and is now zeroing in on all things Palin. If the media were truly liberal, they would do all in their power to seem less conservative - that is, they would open up to other ideas more.

Pete, I couldn't have said it any better. But here is the good part....The Palins are laughing all the way to the bank as long as the libs keep them in the spotlight.
You know if you don't want to go to a function you just don't go. What is it with morons who don't want to hear someone speak trying to prevent others from hearing. What are you afraid of. It's just like t.v. You don't want to watch something turn the channel. If I want to watch it stay out of my business.

LOL! I think Sarah and Bristol will be more successful in gaining the acceptance of pre-schoolers!

I am sorry but Bristol didn't finish High school. And she trying to teach college student about sex?? LMFAO!!!!! Bristol should try and finish something in her life LIKE actually getting a college degree.
There is a lot to learn just by looking at Bristol not by hearing her. She should focus on caring for a son that she had at a young age. Kinda learn from her mistakes, and try not to rise her son as her mother rised her! Bristol has a lot to learn and it is NOT teaching others with her having no degree! LOL! and trying to teach people whom are in school to get a degree.
Bristol get a clue! Hint: Back to Alaska!

I am the smartest Palin and I'm retarded.

The "open-minded" left successfully shutup opposition once again. Anyone who disagrees with them is "racist" or "sexist" or some other "ist". It's nice that a university is so open to discussion. She could have spoken from experience about the consequences of sex.

I don't understand why Bristol is using "abstinence" as her "message of wisdom" to teenagers. Did that message work for her? Uh, no. Does that message work for most teenagers? Uh, no. So why preach it? That would be like Kirstie Alley continuing to make speeches praising Jenny Craig diets, even though she gained back all (if not more) of the weight. "So Jenny Craig worked for you, Kirstie?" "Well no, but they're willing to pay me to say it works, so what the hell do I care?"
If Bristol (bless her little heart) had at least two working brain cells to rub together, she would realize that what she MIGHT be qualified to speak about are birth control and protected sex to AVOID pregnancy. Oh wait, no... Mama Grizzly and her holier-than-thou Tea Party sheep vetoed that idea because, as we all know, right-wing conservative young ladies don't partake in that sort of debauchery until they're married.
In any case, it would have been rather amusing had she been allowed to make the speech. I have a sneaky suspicion she would've been, at the very least, snickered at... at the most, laughed off stage. Judging from the PSA and having heard her speak (or try to) on TV and such, her biggest challenge is parlaying a thought into a coherent sentence. I'm thinking a GED and college might help fix that, poor girl.

There you go, you couldn't have asked for a better way to show what a liberal is all about. Thank you, see you teach others about making mistakes too. You may have just shown some other young adult why they would never want to be a liberal. Good job.
Sex seems to be the only thing back seat Bristol can talk about.

I think she is just a normal person and her mom is a real person as well just telling it like it is. I consider myself a moderate. The problem with liberals is their old hippies, believing everything is just peachy in the world. There are no bad people out there that hate us. That we can win if we just show them love. That we should help and take care of everyone that won't work to take care of themselves. That we should not have any borders. It's okay that I pay taxes and illegal aliens don't.
However, I am totally okay with gays. Most did not choose to be gay, they are who they are and I am not bothered or offended by them.

Bristol was forced to get a new boyfriend when Sarah stole Levi from her. That's why she left Alaska. She just couldn't stand to see the two of them together!

The article doesn't point out the OBVIOUS hypocrisy of a teen mom promoting abstinence; kinda David Duke speaking out against racial hatred.

Kinda LIKE, I meant.
