After spending Thursday hospitalized for a reported hernia, Charlie Sheen left Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Now, Radaronline.com reports that the 45-year-old has checked himself into rehab."Charlie Sheen has voluntarily entered an undisclosed rehabilitation center today," his rep Stan Rosenfeld said. "He is most grateful to all who have expressed their concern."
'Two and a Half Men' was rescheduled to resume filming next week, but CBS has now announced the show is being placed "on production hiatus. We are profoundly concerned for (Sheen's) well-being, and support his decision."
Sheen was taken by ambulance to Cedars-Sinai yesterday morning, following several calls to 911, including two from 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star Adrienne Maloof-Nassif and her husband.
According to TMZ, the actor was having severe abdominal pains -- the result of a hiatal hernia -- and did not suffer a drug overdose as many believed.

You know, with all the people suffering from things like the economy to personal loss, one just might think that someone with his resources just might, JUST MIGHT, believe he is blessed like so few others. He has resources that a mighty few have, yet he pisses it away, his money, his respect, his legacy and soon his life. What makes someone do that? Oh I know money spoils, but living in this world?? Cant he step outside himself and see what is truly needing in this country and world and try to help it instead of bringing shame on himself? Personal accountability charlie, personal accountability. If I had your resources, I certainly would handle it better.

Yes, he is out of control (no argument). Unfortunately, for rehab to be effective, you must be ready to accept and change.
Your own family and friends are DONE with you, yet you can't change.
Hookers are paid to be with him, strangers are paid to provide drugs. His support is long gone...thru his own actions.
I too love 2 1/2 men...his affect on other show mates is horrible. Only he can fix this...
Medically speaking, the hernia could have been reduced, without surgery. Maybe, it is more prudent to give Charlie the positive rather than the negative all the time. Yes, he has his demons. But, severe onset of abdominal pain surely is a reason to have it checked out, especially with a known history of hernia. JMHO.

Its called addiction people. it doesn't matter how much money you have. that doesn't make it any easier to get help. people that trash charlie sheen for not righting his ways and say they hate seeing people who have so much throw it all away make me sick
I think Charlie is on a very destructive path and I am afraid for him, I love this guy and love his show so much, its so heart breaking to see how addiction can take peoples lives away, I pray for you Charlie that you can beat it.

Addiction is sad for anyone. He has talent but his demons are trying to destroy him. I hope that rehab is going to help him.
Just another example of too much greed. This is a bad example for kids who think you get chance after chance to screw up and not have any consequences. If people stopped watching that show he'd be in rehab by now.

Hernia, my foot. He's convinced everybody that he's ok. Sober up over the weekend and go back to work next week. Don't get any help, he should be forced into rehab, but who will force him into doing anything he doesn't want to do? CBS should make him go to rehab.

what a shame. i really like him. why throw your life away with drugs and alcohol. you have little children who would love to play ball with you. isnt that motivation enough to stop all youre doing.
