Lea Michele to Perform at Super Bowl

Lea Michele is a busy woman these days. In addition to starring in the hit FOX show 'Glee,' the singer-actress is set to perform 'America the Beautiful' at the Super Bowl, E! News reports.

Michele will join Christina Aguilera, who will sing the national anthem at the event. The Black Eyed Peas will headline the halftime show, making them the first pop group to perform at halftime since the infamous Justin Timberlake-Janet Jackson performance in 2004.

The 'Glee' star will also grace the small screen right after the Super Bowl, as 'Glee' has a major 'Thriller'-esque episode airing directly after the game.

And in her spare time, Michele is joining the major ensemble cast of Gary Marshall's 'Valentine's Day' follow-up film, 'News Year's Eve,' which includes the likes of Michelle Pfeiffer, Robert DeNiro, Halle Berry, Hilary Swank, Zac Efron and Ashton Kutcher.

Lea Michele has a pretty good voice great choice to sing America The Beautiful. NFL made great job with performaners this year Christina singing The National Anthem, Black Eye peas performaning at halftime.

Who is Lea Michele you ask? She's that girl we all hated in high school. You know, the one who always "reminded" the teachers when they forgot to give out homework; the one that finished her test 15 minutes before bell, and then spent the rest of her time organizing her notebook and then cried because she only made a 99 on the test; the one who was the president of every club in school, including the one for virgins. Yeah, that's the girl. I'm afraid that Ms. Michele has played her role on Glee so well that most the television audience can't stand her, as she tends to be pretentious, self-centered and narcissistic with a ton of drama piled on top. IF she plays it like Rachel, her rendition of America the Beautiful will have most of America with their fingers down their collective throats. They should have gone with the hot blonde on the show, Dianna Agron or even Chris Colfer.

And BTW, Christina Aguilera will butcher the National Anthem; she can't sing a song straight to save her life, so get ready to hear it overdone with way too many vocal runs at the end of every line. And one more thing; about the Black of Eyed Peas. Fergie is great, sexy etc, but the three dudes can not sing a lick, so get ready for a "pitchy-dawg" performance.
