'Glee' Cast Mash Up Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' + Yeah Yeah Yeahs' 'Heads Will Roll' -- Song Premiere

Super Bowl Sunday is a momentous occasion not only for football enthusiasts, but for 'Glee' fans as well, as the day marks the show's welcomed return since its Christmas episode last year.

While loyal viewers of the musical comedy series are waiting in anticipation for which hit songs actors like Cory Monteith and Lea Michele will sing, fans can expect a monstrous mashup: Cast members are set to perform a mix of Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs' 'Heads Will Roll.'

The Sunday, Feb. 6, episode, which will air at 10:30PM EST following the big game, will mark the first time one of the King of Pop's tracks has been covered on 'Glee.' No doubt the famed 'Thriller' dance will saturate TV screens as the 'Glee' cast sing MJ's classic chorus, all while adding, "Dance, dance, dance 'til you're dead" from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs club smash.

I usually love Glee but I will be skipping this episode. Thriller has been done to death and, frankly, I wish Michael Jackson would just go away forever. He's dead, let him go and spare the rest of us. It's amazing how death wiped the slate clean for one of the creepiest celebrities ever. Add to that the pandering to the Super Bowl crowd and this episode promises to be a mediocre parody of the usual episodes. No thank you.

i beleive everyone has there right to say whatever they want.
However tou went too far, Michael will never go away so deal with that. And as far as creepy,you have other stars that are racest,that are drunks, and you have the womanizers.However you beleive Mj is creepy? I feel sorry for you!

Seth, I highly doubt Michael Jackson will just go away. His music made a huge impact on the world. Including Thriller, his biggest hit. Maybe you think it's overplayed, but I'm happy to see Glee finally cover a Michael Jackson song. And I'm not a huge fan of him, either. Funny how you say you usually love Glee, yet claim that this new episode will "be a mediocre parody of the usual episodes". Talking out of both sides of your mouth there, much? :|

Yeah like none of us are sick of Elvis. Shut up already. Nobody really knew him but those closest to him. He was nothing but a target for propagating money hungry voltures that took advantage of him and his good nature. I love Glee and they are the reason all the has been songs they sing have life again.

I loved this mashup I thought it was done very well! I love "Glee" it is such a great show and makes old music new again!

I don't know why people get there knickers in a twist over glee covers. The are not trying to be as good as MJ (nobody can and they know that, especially MJ) or the artist they are trying to cover, it's paying tribute or recognition to the artist. Enjoy the music or listen to the original.
