'True Grit' Actress Comes Face to Face With Lea Michele at SAG Awards

'True Grit' star Hailee Steinfeld got more than an autogtaph at Sunday's SAG Awards in LA. Steinfeld was seated next to 'Glee' star Lea Michele, and by the looks of their photos together, the two gals have apparently mended their "feud."

Earlier this month, Steinfeld told J-14 Magazine that she was let down when the 'Glee' starlet refused to sign an autograph, calling the snub one of her most embarrassing moments of her life. The 14-year-old actress was so heartbroken that she left in tears. "I had to walk all the way back to the car wearing what I was wearing. I was practically crying on the way home," Steinfeld said. "I was so sad! But she's beautiful, and she has an amazing voice."

But Gossip Cop discovered that one key part of the story was omitted. It was not Michele who "dissed" the talented 'True Grit' star. It was actually a production assistant.

"I heard Hailee was upset and feel terrible," Michele said in a statement. "The 'Glee' schedule is so jam-packed that the PA probably pulled me so that I wouldn't be late to set. I never meant to hurt her feelings. She's an extraordinary talent, and I look forward to meeting her one day."

While on the red carpet before the show, Steinfeld told TV Guide's Chris Harrison she was "so excited" to finally meet Michele and was keeping her "fingers crossed" about actually getting an autograph.

glee sucks. i can not believe that it gets as much press as it does. hailee is beautiful........

Ditto on that. Hailee is one talented young lady. I think she will make a great role model for girls her age. I hope she doesn't let fame go to her head and turn into a Miley type. However, I think with solid parents that won't happen. Lea needed some type of good publicity.

Kim Darby, however, was short, dumpy and not very attractive. Hailee is tall, slim and very attractive.

Kim Darby sucked! She looked 21 playing a 14 year old. Not only that but look at her stupid hairstyle. Girls that era did not have bowl cuts. Kim Darby did not have Tru Grit!
