Not Everyone's Laughing at Miley Cyrus' Salvia Trip; Leaked Video Affects Upcoming Film

Not everyone is laughing out loud at the controversial video of Miley Cyrus' salvia trip. According to UsMagazine.com, the studio behind Miley's upcoming film 'LOL' is so concerned about the leaked video that they're removing the star from an already filmed scene that involved the former 'Hannah Montana' star smoking marijuana.

An insider claims that after Miley was caught on tape taking bong hits in November 2010, the studio is going to great lengths to tweak a similarly druggy scene in comedy. "The scene can't be reshot," the source says. So the studio is implementing "tricky editing and effects magic, they are erasing all traces of her inhaling or being in the same shot with the actor." The editors are erasing Miley's "entire arm" from the pot-smoking shot.

"The studio doesn't want to take any chances having the controversy affect the film," the insider says, adding that unlike the studio execs, "Miley doesn't seem to care."

Though Miley's friends claimed the star was "just having fun" and pointed out that salvia is indeed a legal drug, the former tween idol's reputation definitely took a hit.

'LOL' is scheduled to be released sometime later this year, and in addition to Miley, features Demi Moore and Ashley Greene.

Who knows if this is even true? Why would they put a scene in like that in the first place if they were worried what people would think of Miley? It is acting afterall and a lot of things done in movies is not what people should be doing. Why do some people hold Miley to a higher standard when other actors get away with much worse and illegal stuff?

Miley had box office success with her first real movie, The Last Song. Let us see just how successful this new movie will be. I think there were many young girls that had their parents to take them to see The Last Song. I have a feeling things will be different this time around, but I guess the proof will be in the pudding, so to say. It has been nice not to see her in the media. Maybe Billy Ray had a little pull after all.

You are so right about The Last Song. I never bothered to see it because I can't stand Miley, period. Also, believe me I am far from a moron. It always boggles me how people have to sink to a low calling people names. Sad... If you would have read a little closer you would have noticed that I was saying that Miley's show was a success because of parents taking their young kids and tweens to the movies to see The Last Song only due to the fact they love Miley. I believe that after all that has occurred with her parents won't take their kids any longer, due to her actions. You have a right to your opinion, but remember so do others without name calling.

That is ok, because you sound like an idiot. I can't stand Miley and never saw The Last Song. I was just going by statistics. Sadly, it was a box office smash, like it or not. If you read closer you would have seen that I was saying that parents took their young kids and tweens to this movie because they loved Miley, I don't think the parents will waste money this time around with all her antics.
