Lindsay Lohan ran into the cast of 'Glee' on Sunday, and they were nice enough to apologize to her for making fun of the actress in an episode that aired last year.
TMZ is reporting Lohan was out to dinner in West Hollywood, and the cast (minus Lea Michele and Jane Lynch) walked up to Lohan and apologized to her for the jokes made where they referenced Lohan's frequent trips to rehab.
The cast said that they did not mean to hurt her feelings, and Lohan reportedly accepted their apology before everyone parted ways.
In the 'Glee' episode, Gwyneth Paltrow guest starred as Spanish teacher Holly Holiday and referenced the actress in a lesson, asking, "Lindsay Lohan is totally crazy, right?"
Her character then asked her students in Spanish, "How many times has Lindsay Lohan been to rehab?"
Apparently Lohan saw the show and wasn't too happy. Her mom, Dina Lohan, revealed, "Lindsay was watching it while in Betty Ford, then she called me and was upset and said, 'Why did she have to do that?' Lindsay is so upset with Gwyneth."
Dina went on to say, "We are the first to make fun of ourselves in our family. And Lindsay has even done 'SNL' a few times, but Gwyneth went overboard and it was unnecessary. Lindsay thought she was a friend and it was disappointing. It was really hard for her to watch ... it was hurtful, not funny."
Paltrow has so far refused to answer any questions about the Lohans or the jokes made in the episode of the TV show.
Seriously? If you are in and out of rehab and pretty much living a "joke" of a life, you expect to get laughed at! No apology needed, Lindsey needs to get her act together so she can stop being a punch line!
I still don't think it is right to kick someone when they are down. I can't justify that. Do people honestly feel superior by making fun of someone's pain??? Sounds like bullying to me. I am not a Lindsay Lohan fan, but I sincerely wish her well in rehab. Being addicted to drugs and/or alcohol are serious illnesses & nothing to make fun of or judge someone for. Good Luck Lindsay. To the rest I just hope you or a loved one never has to deal with this problem. It is heartbreaking & the whole family suffers.
Seriously..Lindsey if you dont like what people say then you should clean up your act...you are total trash..You are good actress but you are headed for a life on the streets
Dear Lindsay, You were given an opportunity that most people would kill for. You have pissed your career away and landed in the toilet. If people are laughing its your doing. You have had so many chanced to get clean and you are a coward. I hope you get your s**t together this time. Your f**k you attitude is going to land you in the ghetto. Good luck, hope you like spleeping in a cardboard box. You are a joke
I'm certainly glad the cast did the right thing and apologized to Ms. Lohan. There is no reason to demean another just because she drinks, does drugs, engages in kinky sex, defies authorities, goes in and out of rehab, spends time in the slammer, and hasn't done any meaningful acting in years.
And just exactly WHY did they feel the need to apologize?? Lohan is an HPI-High Profile Idiot, and seems to expend a LOT of time and energy to maintain that status...and now I have to wonder why I even expended the time to read this article, other than to convince myself that someone actually felt the need to apologize to someone for being the butt of their joke/s, when she IS a joke!
Trouble is that she does have great potential & talent that she chose to squander. As for the Glee cast apologizing - that was most likely "forced by proximity" and not necessarily meant. Let's face it, LiLo is delusional - so was the apology - Oy.
Hey Lohan,if you dont want people making fun about you, quit giving them the material to do it with. You arnt ashamed when you are doing it.If you are that concerned take rehab a little more seriously.
Why blame Gwyneth Paltrow for her lines about Lindsey Lohan on GLEE? She merely was repeating the lines, as were all cast members, written by writers. If anyone is to blame, it's the writers, not the person saying the lines. True--an actor can refuse to say a line if she/he wishes, but said actor can also be fired just as easily. Actors need to work. They are paid to say what is in the script. Period. Bob

Very well said.
Nick, you are right on the spot. Her arrogance in the courtroom said it all.
Right On Nick!!!!!

Why apologize to LiLo? She set herself up as a target. She should expect people to take shots at her.

Spinless puzzies. Linzey deserves all the derision she gets and more. She's a hopelessly hopped up little twit, with no talent.
