The producers should have been smart and put a period to a successful show when Simon left left season. They should have ended on a high note instead of going off the air as a flop and being cancelled.

I agree. I think we needed a breath of fresh air & Steven & Jennifer are just that. I think all these rumors are just that. Media trying to stir up trouble where there is none. Well, for those of you that think the show should be cancelled...it still pulls in more numbers than anything else on the air. Why would they cancel that??? Of course they would not! Second of all, the judges are not the reason most people watch this show. My entire family and I watch to see the performers and dont really even get into it till all the joke performances are done with. And finally, for those of you that think Steven is great for things you have seen him do on the show...nothing happens that is not scripted by the producers, if you think otherwise, then you are very mistaken.

The show hasnt even started People. Its not all about the Judges. J-lo, Steven and Randy will do good. Simon got old fast. Paula needs to go to Rehab. Tara was Hot and knew music. This was not for Ellen. I agree with you Cher. I GOT YOU BABE !

Rock Legend? Not sure about that. The last thing Aerosmith did that was any good was a couple tunes off of Toys In the Attic in 1975 everything after that was " Bad Man Real Bad" But he is a good dude, Seems like a pretty cool guy.

dr659...Following your logic, the Beatles were NOT rock music legends either because they have not "done" anything since 1970...No, Tyler and Aerosmith definitely fit into the category of rock legends. J-Lo should be glad that things seem to be working out with the group of judges they put together....sometimes success is best measured, not by the individuals but by the sum of the parts, that is the effectiveness of the Team. Had they put someone other than Steven Tyler as a judge the show could have gone down faster than the Titanic...

dr659, Yes he is a legend!!!! Aerosmith has been around 40 yrs...and your wrong about only a couple songs off toys in the attic in 75. It started with the dream on albulm in 73 and there are other great albulms like Rocks one of the best albulms, get your wings, another great albulm and draw the line. I like all there stuff in the 70's. Once they started making music in the 80's didnt like the music much...but they still are a great band and always will be!!! As far as I dol, I love Steven on there. Jen needs to go. Now she crying shes getting no camera time...what a vain brat!!!! She needs to grow up really!!!

I agree with you. Just because you are a negative hack does not mean we should all immediately abandon our own thoughts and join the negative thinkers. I think that Jennifer is sweet to the contestants and the show is better this year.

That's how I feel too. I didn't think I'd enjoy this season, but so far I think it's great! J-Lo needs to get a backbone, though, and start being honest about who's talented and who's not. But this article is correct - Steven is stealing the show so far which is A-OK with me!
