I do not watch American Idol. Never have. Steven Tyler Has been around a lot longer than Lopez. Lopez has always been about herself. Except for having a few hits in the late 90's and early 2000's, has she really done anything?

I like Aerosmith and Steven Tyler. But, for the haters to dislike J-Lo to the point of saying she can't sing and has no talent? I don't like her ego. But, the woman most certainly can sing, and dance. And, she isn't that bad as an actress. It is the movies she's been in. Steven Tyler is an icon. He can't truly sing. His longevity deserves respect. But, this guy was self-destructing just a month ago. Don't hate on J-Lo because she doesn't have a flat butt. The jealousy shows when you do that. You don't have to like her. But, anyone who knows she's had some hit songs and is a dancer as well.

This season is actually fun to watch. Steven and Jennifer have added so much to the show. If Rob's article is true, Jen needs to realize she's a "star"... Steven is an "icon".

Oh shut up Steven Tyler is an Icon Jlo is a wannabe that will never be. this is a kin to her being in a movie with Vanessa Redgrave and expecting to get top billing that will never Happen. Redgrave is part of a dynasty and has been in american film 50 years or more and nominated for or won countless awards. that's like letting Jlo off for wearing fur and or designing clothes with it is stupid but letting Redgrave off for wearing it is totally acceptable because she's from an era where there wasn't synthetic replacements you either wore fur or you didn't and it was a status symbol for celebrities to be covered in fur and dripping in diamonds and gems. for example I remember Redgrave always having an emerald garnet and sapphire mothers ring because those were/are her childrens birthstones which also had pave diamonds set in it as Jennifer probably does an Amathyst one because that's max and emme's birthstone or Mariah Carey will probably have a diamond and either aquamarine or emerald one for her twins when their born later this year

This story is b.s. . J-Lo needs to stop primping and preening on a constant basis , though. Steven has some awesome music , but he really needs to stop ogling teen girls like he's starving and they're hamburgers. It's sick.
Randy finally seems to have a backbone. Seems to be taking up where Simon left off and telling the people who 'think' they can sing just what needs to be said. That they STINK at singing.
Lastly , there seems to be a broader array of good singers this year. Should be interesting.
