Finally some good news for Katie Holmes! Her highly anticipated miniseries 'The Kennedys' might have been dropped by the History Channel, but it's found a welcoming home on a new network.

The epic eight-part miniseries will settle into its new cable home on ReelzChannel for an April 3 premiere date, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Producers of the project have struck a deal with the independent, family-owned cable network to air the miniseries, and the company reportedly stepped up with a big financial commitment to the project.

Tom Cruise's wife is undoubtedly happy 'The Kennedys' will have the opportunity to find its audience, especially considering the intense prep work she put into the role and hours spent studying footage of the political family to help her embody the iconic first lady.

Fortunately for the former 'Dawson's Creek' star, the actress's upcoming ad campaign as the face of Ann Taylor will coincide perfectly with the spring release of 'The Kennedys.'
