Report: Lindsay Lohan Suspect in Jewelry Theft

Listen up, Lindsay Lohan. I know Marilyn Monroe is your idol and all, and she did say "Diamonds are a girl's best friend," but hijacking high-end jewelry is not what she had in mind!

RadarOnline.com reports that cops have asked a Los Angeles judge for a search warrant for the starlet's Venice Beach home. They suspect that Lohan has stolen a piece of jewelry, and investigators told the court they have a video of Lohan wearing the missing jewels.

"Lindsay is being accused of stealing high-end jewelry, including a necklace," one law enforcement source told Radar. "A search warrant was requested Tuesday at the Airport Court to search Lindsay's house for the item of jewelry in question."

If this jewelry is valued at $5,000 or more, the troubled 24-year-old could be charged with a felony. She's still on probation after allegations from a Betty Ford clinic worker who claimed Lohan assaulted her, so any trouble with the law could land her back in court.

Lohan was released from her court-mandated stint in rehab on Jan. 3, 2011. In her first tweet as a free woman, she wrote, "Today is the first day of the rest of my life." She even shared a quote from Gandhi, saying, "The future depends on what we do in the present," and added her own commentary of "(taking it) one step at a time..."

Her dad claimed she passed all her drug tests, and she even sought a sober friend in ex-addict Tom Hardy, both definitely good steps toward staying out of trouble. Stealing jewelry, however, would not fall in the scope of Gandhi-inspired behavior!

Some of us are not quick to condemn, considering that most of us are not any better....I have hopes for her to get past all this garbage and thumb her nose at all you people who enjoy knocking someone when they are down!

Lindsay and the rest are our entertainment! So, entertain us Lindsay, and if the best you can do is steal jewelry, that's pretty lame and you need to give Britney or Paris a call. But, Lindsay, in your defense, stealing jewelry is just so lame that I'm thinking you're innocent.

She tweeted "today is the first day of the rest of my life" when she got released from rehab. What a stupid cliche. If she'd gotten an education she'd say something much less trite and much more meaningful. But her college fund went up her nose.

This post was so shy of activity ....So yeah tell me what I am or not or where maybe I should go ,kool ...............Alright,as much as I,(personally),cannot absorb Ms. Lohans' lifestyle and all,I,(personally,once again), think that her REAL problem is that her UNCONCIOUS soul,..that deep inner part close to nature ...CRAVES... a MAN..!....Problem is she is an avid homosexual,(and trust me they ain't gonna let her go,..too high of a profile), and therefore any man that she could hook-up with,she WOULD,over time,disect and destroy...I think that the guy that she could deal with is in,or close to, her world,..but does NOT think living in hell would be fun!!....Anyway in trying to silience that inner woman,....drugs,anti-social behavior are what help her exist in her current lifestyle,(and her sexual CHOICE is her own business,...but ).....Oh I can feel the hate,it is okay and I understand it,go for it ....
