Zsa Zsa Gabor Rushed to Hospital, May Have Another Leg Infection

Zsa Zsa Gabor was rushed to the hospital by ambulance on Tuesday after her husband said the actress had started spitting up blood.

Prince Frederic von Anhalt told TMZ that there was "lots of blood coming out of her mouth" while they were at home, so he called for help. She is currently at UCLA Medical Center where von Anhalt says his wife has a fever and a leg infection. He also says she has blood and water in her lungs.

Family publicist John Blanchette told CNN Gabor "was spitting blood."

Gabor is currently recovering from having a part of her right leg amputated on Jan. 14. An infected bone in the 93-year-old's leg necessitated the procedure. According to van Anhalt, Gabor hasn't recognized anyone since the surgery. Her birthday is on Sunday.

Gabor was hospitalized back in November after she complained of pain and swelling in her legs. That was when the ailing actress's private physician found a "massive blood clot." Gabor was reportedly so ill during the month of August that she requested last rites.

After suffering a bone-breaking fall on July 18, Gabor was hospitalized and eventually had a hip replacement. Throughout her hospital stay, there was a series of conflicting reports intimating that she was near death (according to her husband) as well as "going strong" (said daughter Constance Francesca Hilton).

Gabor, a Hungarian-American socialite and actress, has been known for decades for her thick accent, prolific trips down the aisle and for pioneering the act of being "famous merely for being famous," as she's often described. Her best-known role was in 1952's 'Moulin Rouge.'

Apparently she does not have a do not rescusitate order she probably i said PROBABLY wants everything done to save her this is why she keeps returning to the damned hospital. what do you want her to do? why dont you go to her home and direct how things should be done.

It's that creep she's married to....he's a pig and a user, who will do anything for a second of fame. I would not be surprised if he sells locks of her hair and toenail clippings after she's dead. If there were any real justice in the world, she'd rise up off her deathbed and club that bum to death with her amputated leg....what would they do to her? She's 93!

to Rose - did you read the entire story - she hasn't recognized anyone since November - if a DNR wasn't in place then, it's a tad late for her to consent - to the others who don't want to hear about her anymore - it's not her fault that the paparazzi are always around - As for those who wish her dead - I pray you never get old - It certainly isn't for the weak - and it's not up to us to end a life - regardless of how bored you are reading about it - Why don't you try tuning into something else?

Who are you to inform this woman she should give up and die. You are the type when confronted with adversity just gives up. You are a wimp and dog to thing her life means so little because she is 93. With people like you there would never have been a Medal of Honor, you'd of just gave up and died "with dignity." Climb back in your hole.

How in the name of dignity and decency can this money grabbing supposed prince of nothing allow this public and private hell for such a beautiful person. she deserved so much better at the end. stop rushing her to the hospital and bring in hospice to allow her to travel from his arms to gods arms at peace>

even though she isn't alert and oriented enough to consent to be a do not resuscitate, the next of kin, spouse, or a power of attorney can make a decision for that. The family may not be well informed on what DNR is. Besides which, she may have a living will that expresses her dying wish to be a full code. For all we know she is DNR... doesn't mean you don't seek medical attention appropriately. DNR doesn't mean "let me suffer." It is only right to respect the wishes of a person and their family.

Prince isnt the worst person, yes people want to know how she is but wish he would keep it to at least less info.

I hope to never live with the amount of pain she is in. I believe in Dr. K. Why prolong your life, or of others when they are in so much agagony?

Let her rest in peace with dignity and Prince doesn't need to keep anything more than some info, please!
