Zsa Zsa's Daughter Fears for Her Mother's Fortune

Zsa Zsa Gabor's daughter Constance "Francesca" Hilton is preparing for an epic legal showdown with her stepfather, Prince Frederic von Anhalt, over her ailing mother's estate as the glamorous socialite-turned-actress finds herself in critical condition at an LA hospital.

"Frederic has put Zsa Zsa's Bel Air mansion on the market, but Francesca insists he has no right to sell the property," a family insider tells me. Why? "He signed a prenuptial agreement before marrying Gabor."

The 26-room property was built in 1955, reportedly by Howard Hughes, and Elvis lived there in the '60s. It was even the location of Zsa Zsa's ninth marriage, to Frederic himself, although today it's not in the greatest shape.

His royal highness wants a staggering $28 million for the property. He told TMZ, which proudly calls him "Prince von Ahole," that the house has become "too much of a headache" and that he's "sick and f**king tired" of paying $30,000 in monthly maintenance.

Frederic, who became titled when he was adult-adopted by a German princess in his 30s, even held a press event INSIDE the house and told everyone that he couldn't afford not to sell and had "already been inundated" with calls from interested buyers, many from China and Russia.

Not surprisingly, my family source says Zsa Zsa's only child does not trust her stepfather to handle her famous mother's finances and is particularly worried he will make legal moves to cut her out.

"Francesca has had a long and terrible relationship with her stepfather and is terrified that as her mother lies back in a hospital bed he will convince her to sign something that would leave her with nothing," the insider says. "She doesn't trust this man and is very worried about her mother."

Francesca is the star's only child. Her father was Zsa Zsa's second husband, the late hotelier Conrad Hilton.

Zsa Zsa was rushed to UCLA Medical Center on Tuesday after Frederic said she had started spitting up blood. He told reporters that she has another leg infection, horrific news that comes just two weeks after she had a portion of her right leg amputated.

Pray for Zsa Zsa and let's hope Frederic does the right thing.

Here's the big one for me- having just gone thru the death of my Gma and her estate... a) who has Medical Power of Attorney/ Legal Power of Attorney, b) Is the Prince's name on the deed/ mortgage and if he doesn't qualify under either of those positions, he doesn't have the right to list the house for sale- period. So- he's shady.. this isn't news to us right? As for Ms. Hilton, it doesn't matter if she received an inheritance from her Father's death or not- she's still born out of that woman, and has every moral and legal obligation to be concerned about this "Prince"....

Soon, Zsa Zsa will rest in the grave while the two peole who should have loved and supported her remain bitter enemies over her possessions. Over the years, stories about the daughter have portrayed her as a fat money-grubber who could never stabilise a relationship with her Mother. The truth is that we don't know anything about Zsa Zsa and her daughter's relationship, so to criticize her daughter is unfair.
However, we do know from all the publicity the husband loves to create for himself that he's a jerk. It's fairly easy to manipulate an elderly person who is very old and ill. Most every family has someone who has done just that for their own self serving agenda and greed.

I personally know how ZsaZsa and Francesca were EXTREMELY close!!!! Those two women fought huge personal and legal battles before this leech enetered their lives. His intentions are selfish and pure evil..and he is a philanderer who caused Zsa Zsa a lot of heartache. Give her daughter a break people, Von Ahole is a miserable opportunist who wasn't very nice to our precious Zsa Zsa. I'm 100% on Francesca's side.

Maybe the 'prince' can get his hands dirty and do some of the maintenance on the house himself, how hard would it be for him to remove that old toilet that's sitting in the backyard?
Why was he buying 300 turkey's to give away at Thanksgiving (publicity stunt) if they need money for bills, etc. The 'prince' states that he needs to sell the house to pay Zsa Zsa's bills, well I think they were both living in that home and both racking up expenses, as far as I know he does not have a job?
He does like to be in the limelight, but I think his ONLY claim to fame is that he is the 9th husband of Zsa Zsa Gabor and on top of that he is not really a prince!
Sad that this is how Zsa Zsa's life is going to end.

Stop bashing the daughter here. I am sure she can both worry about her mother and the financial aspects at the same time. Her mother isn't exactly young, and she is very sick, so I am sure the reality that she won't be of this world long has already set in. She should be worried about the estate, but she probably should be talking with her mother about it, and a lawyer, if needed. How cheated would you feel if your mother died, and you got nothing just because your stepfather and you didn't get along?

How do you people know that she is doing this solely for herself? It very well could be that she doesn't want her mother displaced from her home. These articles tell one side, the one that is perhaps half-truth and sells print.
