Teens Thank PTC for Getting Them Hooked on 'Skins'

The Parents Television Council has deemed MTV's newest teen drama 'Skins' child pornography and counted more than 40 instances of drug, sex and alcohol abuse in only the first episode. So, how are teen viewers responding? They're thanking the PTC for inventing a new drinking game.

From Funny or Die comes a video of teens who are grateful for the PTC's watchdog campaign. Spreading word about the show that may corrupt our entire country's youth, the more the PTC whines about nudity and drug use, the more these teens can't wait to indulge -- in the show.

"Thanks for telling us. That sounds awesome," the teens beam. "Ever since the PTC has been losing their minds over it, there must be something really awesome coming up."

The video also points a finger at Taco Bell for pulling their 'Skins' commercial spot, calling their high-quality menu "barely beef" before giving the fast food chain a giant stamp of "FAIL."

"We'll be ordering pizza at our 'Skins' party."

If they were smart, the PTC would demand some sort of MTV kickback for boosting ratings.

one would think the PTC would have gotten it by now, anytime they try to suppress something, especially around teenagers, it's like waving a red flag to a bull, they'll rush right towards it, except of course the brain dead, hormone suppressed children some of them manage to have while fight the notion of sexuality as normal.

good for funny or die for pointing this phenomenon out...remember PTC the first rule of publicity...negative publicity is better than NO publicity...so maybe, next time you have an opinion about it, instead of going all draconian on us, and trying to impose your values on the rest of the world, you'll just STFU and let things take their natural course...Skins probably wouldn't have near enough attention had you not put your nose in others business.

The PTC is nothing more than a few people with a lot of letterhead and donations from idiots who think that they will be able to rid your tv/radio of what they seem to deem "obscene." What is obscene is that these people make money hand over fist from people who donate to fight against idiotic causes (such as "Skins, Howard Stern, Porn, on and on......."

I am glad the PTC is out there to inform parents about shows that may be inappropriate. I am also glad they fight so hard to get their sponsors removed and the show shut down. It may feed the hype for a short while, but then the show is ended and the hype is over. Also, MTV may lose future sponsors by showing this behavor. I am in disbelief about a person that says fighting against a show such as this is pointless because it improves ratings. What are we supposed to do? Just let them air whatever they want? Someone has to fight. Way to go, PTC!

You support cenorship Kristy which is wrong and you're a prude as well that is out of touch with reality. Boycotting is dumb & stupid. Any network can show what they want because it's speech which you don't get Kristy.

Human Nature, of course kids are courious about sex. They have no idea what they're doing. All the boasting and bragging the guys do, they have no idea what they're doing. The girls wanting to be with the cool guys, have no idea either. This show is not even close to being realistic.

Kids tend to forget that We are way ahead of them. Been there done that. Everything they pull on us we already pulled on our parents, and they pulled on their parents.

I want to know who at PTC in on MTV's pay-role. If they had not created such a hoop-la over this pathetic show, teens would have watched it a couple of times and deemed a waste of time. The unimaginative script and no talent young actors would have taken care of the Skins on their own. Not everything imported from Britain is a success, however, I do enjoy the American version of Being Human. Personally I think that any teen with half a brain cell would choose to turn the channel on their own.

Any video that mocks PTC is great there wrong and they know there wrong. PTC are prudes that out of touch with reality and are liars there like PETA will say or do anything so people talk about them. Down With Prudes Of America.
