Report: Lindsay Lohan Caught on Camera Stealing $2500 Necklace

Has anyone told
Winona Ryder that
Lindsay Lohan is vying hard for her title of Tinseltown kleptomaniac?
The 'Mean Girls' star was
accused Tuesday of stealing high-end jewelery, and cops issued a search warrant for her Venice Beach home. Luckily for LiLo, a friend of the actress turned the necklace, valued at $2500, in to the Pacific Division of the LAPD Tuesday night. Lt. Jeff Bert told
RadarOnline.com, "If the LA county DA's office files charges, it could be grand theft which is a felony."
Now
RadarOnline reports that a "surveillance video clearly shows Lindsay Lohan taking the (allegedly stolen) necklace from the store." Their source continued, saying, "Law enforcement believe the video will prove that the actress took the necklace, because it doesn't, at any point, show her paying for the item. It's the strongest evidence authories have against [her] ... If the video didn't exist, she wouldn't be in this precarious situation."
This isn't the first time Lohan has been accused of having sticky fingers. In 2007,
she was accused of stealing $10,000 worth of shoes and accessories from a former friend. Then in 2008,
she "accidentally" grabbed an $11,000 blond mink coat from a New York club, then was later photographed in her impromptu loaner much to the chagrin of its rightful owner.
On the flip side of things, Lohan herself was
burgled by the "Bling Ring" in 2008, and then testified to jurors that she felt "so violated and uncomfortable" not because of "the things that were taken, it was just the fact that someone came into the only private space that I have in my life at this point."
The troubled 24-year-old is
still on probation after allegations from a Betty Ford clinic worker who claimed Lohan assaulted her. Further trouble with the law could definitely land the starlet back in court, and maybe even behind bars.

Once again i have to ask,.....WHY is this girl allowed to flagrantly violate the law anytime she wants, and just do whatever she wants? We've seen this SEVERAL times with this person, and she just thinks she's above the law. She needs a LONG TIME in jail to wake her up!

3 times caught stealing? hhhmm ..she's a trainwreck..guess bad publicity is better than none..seriously her inner circle needs to get her help and keep her in re-hab, instead of making excuses for her everytime she does something bad

Throw her skinny drugged up butt in a jail cell and LEAVE her there!! She hasn't learned her lesson, she still acts like the world owes her something, and her parents need to butt out, since they didn't raise her with any morals or values to begin with.

Funny, if it was me and they had me on tape stealing that necklasce my a** would be in jail already. She'll get away with this as she has everything else - just like everyone with money does. Poor little starlet. Pathetic!

I have a feeling she will never see a prison cell, even though shes proved, thats what she needs. If it was any of us, police would have already kicked in our front door.
I thought that after her 'rehab' she would do better at least for a few months, its clear now what Lindsay really is.
A little drug useing, beer drinking theif.
A typical hollywood star.

Does she really stoop to BEER?
One word: PSYCHO!

By law if she is charged with the felony her probation will be revoked just for the charge and then if convicted she has to go back into prison for the time on her old probation charges then the new felony charges. She should be looking at a minimal 18 months no less in regular state pen and in cali thats strike 2 for her one more and its life.

Agreed, but lets see if that happens. If it does not, we have a reason to be outraged. It's time to let "the powers that be" know we are sick of the double standard enjoyed by these celebrity low-life's.
Charlie Sheen is getting paid very well for playing himself! His character is not a stretch at all. No "acting" required. Why don't you just turn the TV off and watch your relatives?

Yeah right, we all know by now that nothing is going to happen to her. I'm sick of hearing this crap because some judge will just let her off with "probation" or some other BS. Maybe they can send her to some luxury oceanfront rehab as punishment

I wish Lindsey would get her life straight! when she first came out in movies and acting she was an idol to me. Now I just am shocked that she turned this way...well not to shocked seeing as Miley C. is on her way to being the next Lohan in the tabloids

LL needs more than just a Cell to spend her time in. She has something wrong with her inside. Her spirit is wounded and her soul is damaged. I think after the physical rehab she needs phych help and spiritual nuturing. She needs to put those demons at rest and learn to love Living again. IRON MAN is a great example of someone who "did it". Every life is worth something. Even Lindsay. I'm Praying for you Lilo!

If they don't put her in jail for at least a year or 2, especially after trying to steal that necklace, (which she could have easily afforded, btw,) then they have proven once and for all that the justice system is nothing but a joke. They have let this basket-case off easy for way too long. Celebrities should be punished the same way as anyone else. They are no different than us, they are just in the public eye. All the more reason to make an example out of them! I will never understand why people that can afford what they steal would take the chance of ruining their careers to steal it, and going to jail. Idiots!!!

Will she ever go away?
