Zsa Zsa Gabor's Husband Joins Actress in Hospital

Zsa Zsa Gabor's husband Prince Frederic von Anhalt has been hospitalized after collapsing in an elevator at Ronald Reagan UCLA medical center. The AP reports that family publicist John Blanchette said the 67-year-old was hospitalized Tuesday.

Gabor, 93, remains in the hospital indefinitely. She was rushed there Tuesday by ambulance after spitting up blood. The Prince said his wife had blood and water in her lungs, as well as a fever and a leg infection.

PopEater's Rob Shuter reported earlier Wednesday that Gabor's daughter Constance "Francesca" Hilton was preparing for an epic legal showdown with her stepfather over her ailing mother's estate. Francesa is worried her mother's ninth husband will take pointed steps to remove her from Gabor's will.

Gabor is currently recovering from having a part of her right leg amputated on Jan. 14. An infected bone in her leg necessitated the procedure. According to van Anhalt, Gabor hasn't recognized anyone since the surgery. The family publicist added that Gabor and her husband of 24 years are not staying in the same hospital room, even though the two were admitted to the hospital on the same day.

Gabor was hospitalized back in November after she complained of pain and swelling in her legs. That was when the ailing actress's private physician found a "massive blood clot." She was reportedly so ill during the month of August that she requested last rites.

After suffering a bone-breaking fall on July 18, Gabor was hospitalized and eventually had a hip replacement. Throughout her hospital stay, there was a series of conflicting reports intimating that she was near death as well as going strong.

Gabor, a Hungarian-American socialite and actress, has been known for decades for her thick accent, prolific trips down the aisle and for pioneering the act of being "famous merely for being famous," as she's often described. Her best-known role was in 1952's 'Moulin Rouge.'

My God, this article is FULL of errors. First of all she shares a MANSION with her husband. Secondly, the daughter isn't preparing for anything. She's praying for her mother.

I guess if Popeater doesn't sensationalize their stuff, it won't get read. Rob Shuter is a real dope. Been watching this turd for a long time and he can't get much accurate.

The Prinz has been married to Zsa Zsa for 24 years. This is California. He is entitled to whatever was jointly earned during their marriage. Or whatever his wife has bequeathed him. If her home is titled as a joint tenant subject to survivorship..It goes to him... Children are only entitled to that which is willed to them. As none of us know what Zsa Zsa's will says at this point why speculate.

I could not imagine being married to Zsa Zsa for 24 minutes (at any age) let alone 24 years! The poor Prince is a Saint to put up with her ordering him around as she has for 24 years. I saw her in action a few times with the Prince and I would have back handed her or run her over in the Rolls Royce. May HE GET WELL SOON. He is still young enough to enjoy 10 or 15 more years! NO OFFENSE Zsa, Zsa!

I always liked the Gabor family. Zsa Zsa has been on many shows and she was always entertaining. Her husband seems to be a nice guy that has been by her side for years. I really wish them good luck and strength. May God send angels to her side.
