Usher is a fantastic musician and performer and Slash is a guitar hero. I like this line up.

Eh, just don't see where or how they fit in with what was already setup with BEP's. Now there just turning it into yet another smorgasborg of the least desirable's. The BEP's and Usher are OK but why Slash? I guess it doesn't really matter though b/c HT shows have been junk since Shania in Dallas. Surprised the didn't go looking for Run DmC or Milli-Vanilli!!!

Maybe it's because Slash will bring some talent to the stage. He is voted one the top ten guitarist, but then you would know that if you had any taste is music. Shania, really? And it also maybe because Fergie sings on Slash's new cd, and it's a damn site better than anything she does with the Black Eyed Peas.
Its ALL Super Bowl Trash and Slash-!!

I feel quite qualified to say that the sound during the halftime performance of the BlackEyed Peas (a band I like a lot) was some of the worst live event music mixing I've heard in modern sound times. They were singing to playback and it still was fraught with so many mixing mistakes it was hard to believe. If I were the performers I sure would be unhappy when I watched it played back. Oh well.....
