Report: Kristen Stewart Offered 'Snow White' Role

Could 'Snow White and the Huntsman' be getting a little 'Twilight' blood? Maybe. According to Gossip Cop, Kristen Stewart has been offered the title role in Universal's much-anticipated fairy tale flick.

Though the official word is that Stewart remains a "person of interest" to take on the role of Snow White, sources close to the production dished that the role is hers if she wants it.

Other big names rumored to be attached to the Rupert Sanders-directed project include Viggo Mortensen as the Huntsman and Charlize Theron as the Evil Queen. The film is set for a 2012 release date.

Besides wrapping up the final 'Twilight' installment, Stewart is beginning promotion for the Jack Kerouac-based film 'On the Road,' co-starring 'Country Road' heartthrob Garrett Hedlund.

I happen to like her myself .. I think she would be good as Snow White. She is a good actress, I saw her in a movie called Panic Room when she was younger and she nailed it.

That I would pay to see. I like Katy Perry, and I am not hating against Kristin, I just think there is real talent out there, and it is not her. She has made a fotune on Twilight.

No, No! Kristen isn't right for Snow White. What the hell were the producers and casting diector thinking? I am sure that there is a better person to play Snow White, especially if this is a different type of Snow White. Maybe someone like Emily Browning.

I think she'd make a great Snow White if it were to be an edgy version of Snow White. She's not the usual cookie cutter actress which makes her interesting, to me at least. She also played "Bella" in the Twilight movies with more depth than Bella had in the book so I give her credit for that.

If Viggo Mortensen is playing the Huntsman,then they definitely need to find a mature Snow White. Someone a tad bit older like Rachel McAdams. Charlize Theron as the Evil Queen? No maybe Angelica Houston or Glenn Close. Someone who can play a wicked role and has a wicked background in the movie business.

Does Snow White have to speak?...if she does, Kristen Stewart is not the person for this role. You can't understand half of her lines, she mumbles, sighs, stammers, rolls her eyes...but she certainly isn't articulate. Her acting 'style' if you can call it that is depressing and can't imagine the 7 dwarfs will feel better about being vertically challenged if they have to do a movie with her.
