Report: Kristen Stewart Offered 'Snow White' Role

Could 'Snow White and the Huntsman' be getting a little 'Twilight' blood? Maybe. According to Gossip Cop, Kristen Stewart has been offered the title role in Universal's much-anticipated fairy tale flick.

Though the official word is that Stewart remains a "person of interest" to take on the role of Snow White, sources close to the production dished that the role is hers if she wants it.

Other big names rumored to be attached to the Rupert Sanders-directed project include Viggo Mortensen as the Huntsman and Charlize Theron as the Evil Queen. The film is set for a 2012 release date.

Besides wrapping up the final 'Twilight' installment, Stewart is beginning promotion for the Jack Kerouac-based film 'On the Road,' co-starring 'Country Road' heartthrob Garrett Hedlund.

What do you think? Could Stewart be the "fairest of them all?"

no she is not the one for snow white, the girls playing that part in disney are much better than her. and snow white is my favorite since that movie started in 1937 when i was born oh no not her PLEASE

Okay....so the people that are thinking about hiring her must see something we don't because all I see is a chick that mumbles in ALL of her roles. You can barely understand her, and as said before she has like 2 expressions. But instead of having to choose between 2 guys now she gets 7. Why is this chick and the rest of the Twilight stars still even acting? The Edward looks like his face his a wall and Jacob has a pig nose. Oh wait I know I know it's because all of those chicks and preteens think that Twilight is happening for REAL!. Give me a break. Kristen Stewart is definetly cut out for this role unless you want a mumbling, bored looking Snow White.

Kristen Stewart? I don't think so, how about Katy Perry or Megan Fox? I can't see a stammering Snow White, she would be awful or maybe you could pick the Scientology Queen, Katie Holmes......either Kristen or Katie would be a DIASTER AND A TRAVESTY TO WALT DISNEY'S SNOW WHITE.

Kristen Stewart is,at best,a character actor.

SOME roles she could actually pull off, like playing Joan Jett in "THE RUNAWAYS". You gotta give her that one. Character actors are good at playing one particular type of role for most of their careers. These are the one we remember from our favorite TV shows.
Most of you posting here have some valid arguments about Kristen as Snow White. K Stew WOULD NOT BE THE RIGHT FIT,but there are other roles she could do much better. K Stew would be much better as an action hero,where her particular look would fit the part. This type of role K Stew could play for the rest of her career.

For Snow White,a better choice would be someone like Kristin Kreuk("Smallville"),or Dakota Fanning. Someone who could at least LOOK innocent but not be totally naive.

Keep in mind that just because K Stew is a person of interest doesn't really mean she's got the role. You can be named to play on the All-Star Team,and still wind up just sitting out the game,never really getting a chance to play.

Something to sleep on besides a pillow and a mattress.

OMG I'm so relieved to know I'm not alone in my low opinion of this girl. Personally, I don't get her popularity. She's fine but NOT a big talent. And as others have mentioned, I also don't think much of her looks. Many articles have mentioned her beauty, I'm always like, she's alright, but what's the big deal? I see more beautiful women at the grocery store or walking down the street every day. Snow White? NOT!
