Kelsey and Camille Grammer Reach Deal in Divorce

Kelsey Grammer and his soon-to-be ex-wife, Camille, have put their differences aside long enough to begin proceedings on their divorce. A Los Angeles judge has approved the 'Frasier' star's motion to have his divorce from Camille, his wife of 13 years, finalized.

The 55-year-old actor, who had attempted to speed up the proceedings so he could marry his new love, 29-year-old Kayte Walsh, by the end of February, has come to a deal with Camille, allowing the judge to put the wheels in motion, according to TMZ.

The Grammers, who reportedly had no prenup, had been battling over their finances in the months since their separation, but have agreed to work out their money issues after their divorce is finalized.

Camille told the NY Post earlier this year of her husband's behavior, "I don't respect what he did to me and my family. I am not happy with the way it went down."

Despite her dismay over Kelsey's actions, both she and her estranged husband have agreed to sign and submit signed settlement papers to a judge by Thursday, in which Kelsey agrees to front $2 million in order to ensure Camille's interest in his pension.

Although their divorce has gotten messy in recent months, including Camille insinuating that her husband was a cross-dresser and Kelsey attempting to freeze assets from his ex, the waters have calmed slightly as of late, with Kelsey reportedly inviting Camille to his upcoming wedding.

Kelsey probably couldn't tell by the expression on Camille's face if she was happy or sad, with all the botox. The little wrinkles in the hairline don't help.
He should hook up with Charlie Sheen. Charlie will show him how it's done without marrying.

I have a question. Why don't all of these insecure "mature" men who have a yen for women young enough to be their daughters(read: mid-life crisis) just go out with them? Why do they insist on marrying these women, ( and sometimes having babies with them) thus ensuring a hefty payout when it ends. And we all KNOW that it ends. Number 1) most men are too selfish to use a condom for sex and number 2) middle-aged men are all too happy(and vain) to "prove" their manhood by fathering children in their declining years. Tony Randall( became a father at 79. Rod Stewart, Mel Gibson, Paul McCartney. The list is endless. The sad truth is that almost all of these children will not have a father by the time they are of age.

I dont know either one of them personally, but from what i have seen, Camille is a very nice, attractive woman. Have always been a 'Frasier" fan - but this is disappointing. Not the way to handle a marriage, or ending one..that is devastating to the partner and kids. The new woman is no where near as attractive as Camille - Mr. Grammer has traded down - based on the fact that woman would willingly go after another woman's man, and kid's father. Families belong together..shame on her, there are plenty of available men out there. she is dilusional if she thinks he wont do the same to her...im sure she got him by ''accidentally' getting pregnant...He will miss his family, eventually. Good luck and God's blessings to Camille and the kids as they start a new chapter in their lives.

I have lost all respect for him!!! I don't know the issues in the marriage but to leave a wife who has stood by your side for a younger not even prettier girl is just dumb.

I have seen it over and over with these really young women that hook up with these really old men........95% of the time it does not work out. Usually the woman loves the security and money and the man just loves the way she looks....it is usually great for about 4-5 yrs. I could write a book about in, in my family and many man I know where you have these types of relationships and it usually ends up a disaster....good luck to Kelsey!!!

I couldn't get enough of Grammer when he was Fraiser. Now I see him as just another sleeze a la Charlie Sheen. He leaves wife and kids for a flight attendant 26 years his junior. Yuk. I give that marriage a year.
