Jude Law and Sienna Miller Split

Jude Law and Sienna Miller have split after more than seven years in an on-and-off relationship. The English actor couple began dating in 2003, got engaged a year later, broke up in 2006 after Law's affair with his children's nanny, then came back together in the autumn of 2009.

"It is mutual and amicable, and they are still friends," a friend of the couple tells PEOPLE.

Law's rep adds, "I can confirm that Jude Law and Sienna Miller are no longer in a relationship."

Jude and Sienna spent time together over the holidays and were reportedly living in serious new digs in north London.

PEOPLE's source says the two parted ways a few weeks ago. "It was an entirely an end-of-the relationship decision. It had run its course."

Law, 38, has three children from a six-year marriage to actress Sadie Frost. He had another baby with model Samantha Burke in 2009 after a brief fling. Miller, 29, was linked to Rhys Ifans and Balthazar Getty in her time away from Law.

This is very, very sad. I think their careers went on hiatus and the financial pressures are at the helm. No yachting and private jets get's the best of all of us once we realize there's no more money. Back to work...reality bites!
