'Gossip Girl' fans, you can finally relax. Ed Westwick has put to rest those pesky rumors that he wants out of The CW show, according to OK! UK.

According to reports, Westwick recently told Tatler magazine that he's not as connected to the Chuck Bass character as he used to be, and that he's "ready to do something else."

The British actor set the record straight at the London premiere of his new film, 'Chalet Girl.'

"That was kind of taken out of context," Westwick said about his comments. "What I actually said was that I wanted to maximize my time, but I had agreed to do other projects as well."

When asked if he's ready to leave his 'Gossip Girl' alter ego, he was quick to kill that rumor.
