Adam Sandler took a perfectly nice conversation about visiting his mother in Florida on 'The Late Show,' and turned it into something crude. It's not a surprise to fans of his particular brand of humor, but it seemed to catch David Letterman off guard.

Or at least Letterman was left with only one repeated response.

Letterman made a fairly benign statement regarding Sandler's mother's friends. "They all know what you do, right?"

Sandler responded with a joke that spiralled into a pretty odd place rather quickly. "My mother still thinks I'm a doctor," he quipped. "I never really told her. So every Thanksgiving her friends will come over and I'll give them pelvic exams." Watch Sandler on 'The Late Show' after the jump!
