Rihanna Wants Restraining Order on Chris Brown Eased

Last month Chris Brown requested that Rihanna's restraining order against him be lifted, claiming it made things "difficult at award shows and such." While the judge didn't immediately grant the request, she did suggest a modification to the current restraining order that would go into effect with the approval of Rihanna's attorney.

Now, RadarOnline.com reports that in a surprising move, the 'S&M' singer is allowing her restraining order against Chris to be softened. The restraining order was a result of the 2009 case against her former boyfriend for assaulting her.

The 22-year-old is reportedly requesting that the order be dropped to a level one. This would mean she and Chris could have contact as long as he doesn't "harass or molest her," according to Radar.

Chris has received glowing probation reports stemming from his conviction for felony assault. He was sentenced to five years probation and six months of community labor. "Out of thousands of probationers, no one has done a better or more consistent job than you have, and I really want to commend you for taking responsibility and actually working diligently to complete all the things the court has required of you," the judge told him.

In December 2010, Chris graduated from his domestic violence class and proudly tweeted out a photo of his certificate with the words "I'm done with class."

"I have enough self respect and decency to be proud of accomplishing this [domestic violence] class," he tweeted. "Boys run from their mistakes. Men learn from them!"

Chris will remain on probation until 2014. The lessened restraining order against him will make things a lot less complicated for the 'With You' singer at the upcoming Grammy Awards.

how about lifting it rihanna, and getting into therapy yourself rihanna. i dont condone what he did, but he has been a model rehab patient, and anger management patient. rihanna..you need anger management, and therapy yourself. stop pointing the finger and shaming and blaming chris.

lift the order, and get a bloody life, rihanna. leave the guy alone, and stop the bloody drama about this incident years ago, you narcissist. you were jealous about some text on his phone, and started the riot. i would never allow any guy hitting me, ever, but you hit him too...get over yourself. bit__.

what i don't understand is most of her music talks about S&M, erotica and yes abuse(sexual,physical and mental)..to me it seems thats just setting yourself up singing about it like it's the norm..but then she cries foul on Chris..yes he was wrong, but what Ive read she gives it right back..so I agree with you she needs to get rid of the order

She got so much milage out of their last incident (Who ever heard of her before?) and she's since found out that her "Talent" couldn't sustain her popularity.

get your own help rihanna..you had a big part in that mess too, and need major therapy, and anger management too. he definately needed it , and he did it.

get over yourself. it has been a couple of years, you narcissist...get on with your leave. leave the poor guy to live his!!!

I think both their careers took a hit after the beating. Hers, because she stayed in an abusive relationship and his, because he was violent towards her. I do not think either of them will be as successful as it might have been. Shame...so much talent.
