Star Jones Hired Security to Keep 'Unhinged' NeNe Leakes Away
EXCLUSIVE: The televised catfight between Star Jones and NeNe Leakes won't officially begin until the new season of 'Celebrity Apprentice' premieres March 6, but insiders have already told me that it gets so ugly that Star had to hire her own security detail.
"NeNe is coming unhinged," a source close to Star tells me, adding that during taping the Atlanta 'Housewife' made La Toya Jackson cry and even got in the face of singing legend Dionne Warwick.
But it's her beef with Star that is particularly nasty, my source reveals. "Clearly, she can't get along with women, especially other black women. She is losing it."
(If you're taking notes, the women in the cast include Hope Dworaczyk, La Toya, Star, NeNe, Marlee Matlin,
Lisa Rinna, Niki Taylor and Dionne.)
For her part, NeNe isn't waiting for the show to begin to make known her hatred for Star. During a visit to 'The Wendy Williams Show,' she tried her best to hold her tongue with limited success.
"I'm not feeling Star Jones, I'm sorry. I gave her a chance when I first got there, I did," she told Wendy, later adding, "I wouldn't spit on Star if she was on fire."
Of course, the feeling is mutual, but a friend of Star's tells me the former 'View' co-host will rise above the negative. That said, she feels that NeNe could be a physical threat to her, so she has hired her own private security guards.
"Star is a real celebrity, not some cheap reality star who is enjoying 15 minute of fame," the friend says. "She's a lawyer and a lady. NeNe can say what she wants about Star, but she doesn't care now that she knows she's safe."
All this upcoming drama isn't lost on NBC or 'Apprentice' honcho
Donald Trump, who couldn't be more excited.
"This is the most dramatic season of 'The Apprentice' ever. It might just be the best TV catfight of all time," a show source tells me. "Donald Trump loved it. He's no fool. He knows that this sort of drama is TV gold."

How tall and big is that NeNe? I reaaly would like to have an idea.
Star Jones is obnoxious, can't take her. She is so mean and out right nasty. We saw that with the View and now it is really showing she was the trouble there as she is here. Warwick get over yourself, you may sing well, however, you are not a superstar. NeNe you and Star deserve each other you are both a like. You both are people that think you know it all, you are just two that no one would want for a friend. Friends want a loyal one. I may not finish watching the show, because you three are so phony it is not pretty to watch. Warwich do you realize what you are doing to your reputation, you are like the ball players that return to play after they retire, and make a fool of themselves. By you being so pompous wanting your name on the book shows how shallow you really are along with Star.
You would think Jones would be used to having people against her. I'm sure when she's out in public people must throw things at her and yell obscenities at her.

NeNe is a fairly tall woman with a loud mouth who attempts to intimidate everyone who crosses her. I would get security as well and carry mace so I could bring her big but down! LOL

Ne Ne is way more of a real person than Star will ever be. Ne Ne keeps it real, she is very entertaining and I am sure she will be more popular than Star ever dreamed about being.

I agree with you totally. We only see what they let us see. Yes NeNe is loud but I feel as if she is right.You shouldnt be able to go around saying things that you want to say about people.Then when she starts talking back O thats threaten. Get real!! Star Jones is creepy . She skipped out on an appearance in Detroit for school kids because of a loophole and never payed any money back . She's creepy .

i totally agree with u about star she is just as bad as nene in alot of ways but i will say this i watched nene on housewives every show and that woman is out of her mind that is all she likes to do is fight and if she finds a friend she test them to figure out if they will be her little lap dog that the pretty black model on the housewives or if they are gonna be strong and fight back like kim on the housewives and then she goes in for the kill nene needs help and i dont meen that in a funny way this woman has got some seriuos mental issues she was my favorite on the show and then her true colors came out and that woman is scary
