Elizabeth Taylor, 78, is being treated at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles after suffering symptoms from congestive heart failure earlier this week.Taylor's publicist says, "Her family and close friends are appreciative of the warm support and interest of her loyal fans but have asked that people respect her privacy and allow her medical team the time and space to focus on restoring her back to health."
The style icon underwent surgery for her heart condition in 2009, and she frequently updated her fans via Twitter about her condition. So far, the two-time Academy Award winner hasn't posted anything about her current trip to the hospital.
"The (health) issue is being addressed," her publicist's statement continues. "She is currently being kept in the hospital for monitoring."

liar. & y would a dude being watching tat?
I have always admired her acting. She was a beautiful woman. I don't think she should've teamed up with Debbie Reynolds to chop Eddie Fisher. He's gone! Let's let this thing go. They both were responsible, in their own ways, for wrecking Eddie Fisher's career before he put the finishing touches to it himself. I do wish her well though.
Sorry John, but.Stuie ur 1 hateful little person.Grow the f up.
John: Stu is a twit. I loved 'Little Women' because the March sisters were all so cute. I also liked 'National Velvet' when Liz was about 13. No, I'm not a cradle snatcher; In fact, I'm eight years younger than Ms. Taylor. She was 17 when she played Amy.
I also have congestive heart failure and it sounds worse than it is, but I have not had previous heart problems, like Liz. It's a build-up of fluids around the lungs and heart. My doctor treated it with water pills called Furosodime and the swelling in my ankles and legs is gone. My heart itself is very strong.
I'm sure her hospitalization is precautionary and nothing to be alarmed about. I wish her all the best.
Elizabeth Taylor is a legend and has been a great humanitarian and actress since day one. Trivia: Selznick wanted Liz for 'Gone With The Wind' but it didn't work out, however, Vivien Leigh was fantastic (duh!).
Selznick wanted a 7 year old girl for Scarlett O'Hara?
