The 53rd Annual Grammys were in need of some spunk, and Cee Lo Green came to the rescue with more than enough of it. After Jamie Foxx introduced the performer, the stage opened up to an out-of-this world scene, rockets and puppets included. But the sight that caught the most attention was Green himself, who played the familiar opening piano keys of his smash hit 'F**k You,' or in this case 'Forget You,' while dressed like a psychedelic peacock, yellow, red and blue feathers aplenty.
Joining 'The Lady Killer' creator on stage were a bevy of puppets, from three female backup singers dressed in mini skirts to a puppy standing by the piano waving its arms to the beat. Besides Green, there wasn't a human being in sight, even the keyboard player and drummer were a set of colorful creatures. Watch the video after the jump.
As Cee Lo crooned through his lyrics, a surprise in the form of actress Gwyneth Paltrow came to be. The blond bombshell strutted down a small catwalk decked out in all-black everything and cascading pink earrings. Paltrow, who has been showcasing her vocal chops recently on 'Glee' and in her recent film 'Country Strong,' had a microphone in hand and took over a few verses from Cee Lo's Grammy-nominated hit.
In what was undoubtedly the highlight of the night, Paltrow jumped on the piano, crawling toward the Gnarls Barkley member playfully. She even laid on her stomach and kicked her heels up to perform the explicit-less version of the tune.

I LOVED IT!!! THE BEST! LOOK LIKE THEY HAD A LOT OF FUN! AND THE CROWD WAS LOVING IT! NICE TRIBUTE TO THE FELLOW PIANO MAN ELTON JOHN. AND I AGREE WITH, TELL IT LIKE IT IS...THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH RACE! GOOOO GWYNETH!
Really??? I must have watched a different Grammy show becuz the Gwinny I saw sang like a talent show contestent, could barely walk in her towering heels and wore a weird, droopy crotch-unitard. What are all the cheers for? I seriously don't get it. She can't sing, she just doen't suck. Yay! Marginal talent!!! I think Cee Lo could have carried the act on his own.
This is why no one watches or buys music, its never been this bad, bring back the sixites, seventies and eighties....Ther Brits know music. RObbie williams sells over 150m records. what rapper does that.
Sorry..but having Gwinneth teeter out there in an already over the top segment offered NOTHING. This is such a cool song and to have friggin muppets..and Celo dressed like George Clinton and Elton John love child? Sucked Sucked sucked. I would expect better of Celo and not get all hollywood out just cuz an actress did his song on the inspid Glee. SUCKED

Bullsheet. Performance was fun. What's race 2 do with it? Sheesh!!!!
I think the costume was a tribute to fellow piano man Elton John, who wore the same costume when he performed with puppets on The Muppet Show.
I loved it! The most creative, fun, explicit-less (lol), over the top performance of the night... Go Cee-lo! Gweneth was great too!
Hope he wins...

Gwyneth was great. Sort of scary when she stood on the piano in those high heals, though.. The song is terrific.

Seriously, Gweneth..get some shoes you can walk in BEFORE you try to dance on a piano with them. And, you really need to stick to your day job.

Gweneth Paltrow is NOT Grammy material and should stick to acting. Let the real singer's sing. Or go on American Idol.

As usual Gwenyth sucked...it all reminded me of a high school talent show. Please stick to acting.
