Emma Watson showed off her amazing fashion sense at the 2011 British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTAs) held on Sunday at the Royal Opera House in London.Watson looked like quite the red carpet pro wearing an off-the-shoulder nude chiffon gown that was pleated at the bottom. The stunning gown was a Valentino creation.
The actress stood next to 'Harry Potter' author J.K. Rowling on the red carpet, who described Watson "like my daughter."
Though the actress was not nominated in any category, she was present on stage along with 'Harry Potter' co-star Rupert Grint when Rowling accepted the Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema award for the 'Harry Potter' films.
The Daily Mail reports that Watson told Sky News, regarding the award, "We're really honored; it's nice to be able to accept it on behalf of all the hundreds of Brits who have been involved in the film over the past 10 years."
The night belonged to 'The King's Speech,' which picked up an amazing 14 awards including Best Film, Outstanding British Film, Best Actor for Colin Firth and Best Supporting Actress for Helena Bonham Carter.

The only thing stunning there is the stunningly BAD hairdo. Okay, I get it she's trying to make a statement apparently about her "preferences" but still. Wear that gown and negate any sexy effect it might have had with a awful cut. Might as well just gone with the whole look and worn pants, jacket and tie.
I love the haircut on her. It looks great, actually, having seen a close up picture a couple days or so ago. She has the perfect features to carry it off and it's extremely feminine on her.
This is a short, pixie type haircut and has nothing to do with any "preferences". Where did you get that? I can only conclude you are a gossipy person who has absolutely no clue what she's talking about and no trouble spreading rumors.
Emma is so deserving. Not of the "nude" gown thing.....that is demeaning to the reporting network and her.
Much more to the reporter. Sensationalist, or child abuser/enabler? Investigate that reporter's background, please...... I mean, really look at them. Same reason why guards in prison seek that job...and people in child care seek it. Not really a mystery. Unless you dismiss it.

I think she looks very pretty in short hair. I don't think she's making any "statement" about "preferences." Some women look very appealing in short hair, if it's done right. Emma Watson looks adorable in her Hermoine hair, and she's beautiful in her short hair now. Emma is gorgeous all around, and I wish I could turn back the clock and go get her.

The gown does look great on her, but like others said she might look better with her old longer hairstyle. Of course it's her choice, but to me the short "pixie" cut detracts from her looks. There's a few ladies who can pull off a pixie/boyish cut like that well, but IMO she's not one of them

Miss Watson is such a beautiful young lady that she would look good in anything. I love the dress she chose to wear. I'm almost 60 and love the Harry Potter series of movies. I will certainly miss them and wish only the best for Daniel, Emma and Rupert.
