Lady Gaga Storms Grammys in Giant Egg, Performs 'Born This Way'

Lady Gaga arrived at the 2011 Grammys inside an egg. Hyping her upcoming first performance of 'Born This Way,' the singer was carried down the red carpet by a handful of her Little Monsters entourage.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the egg contained an oxygen tank. "Lady Gaga is in creative embryonic stage and won't be born until this evening," one of her carriers told Ryan Seacrest.

While we didn't expect anything less of Gaga, we missed one of her signature red carpet dress creations. Fortunately Nicki Minaj's wild look filled the gap.

i wanted to see the grammys i missed it i forgot all about it,i was wondering how are they able to show pics like that if it hasnt happened yet,i dont see what everyone gets out o flady gaga she sucks she tries to hard to stand out from the crowd and her music is stupid,i di dsome research and i see how lady gaga copies all of her wanna be unique styles fomr people waay back in the 50s 60s and way back,theres only 1 song i like by her and thats bad romance thats the best song,but when you have no talent you have to do stupid things to get attention from people and shes living proof thats true.

Rick, talent like hers doesn't fade away? You can say that about most everybody. The problem here is that her talent is trying way too hard to be different..oh yeah, and she's an average singer too. Those two things won't fade away but people will get sick of the gimmick and her average singing will be forgotten when the next blonde, average voiced, sexually dressed, manufactured bimbo pops up.
Remember Lady Miss Keir? She was the last generation's Lady Gaga and she's been pretty much forgotten. Same will happen with Miss Gaga.

What's wrong with all you haters! GaGA is just fun! she found a nitch, and people like it or hate it. I personally think she adds an interesting mix to the music industry. I find it amusing, fun, and talented. She can sing, play instruments, and all at the same time....make us all talk about it. Life would be boring in the music industry if we did not have someone like GaGA that's just plain different. Enjoy it...Let her amuse us. If anything....it's just entertainment. Stop hating. Her music also sends that message.

She should be called Lady Gimmick. If she were as good as Madonna, Cher, Jennifer Hudson, and Barbara Streisand, then Lady Gagimmick would not have to use gimmicks to promote her songs that copy titles, lyrics, and concepts from musical artists like Madonna, Gary Allen, Ace of Base, ABBA, and others.
