Christina Aguilera remembered all the lyrics during her performance at the Grammys on Sunday. Too bad she forgot how to walk. Yes, yes, yes, the 'Beautiful' belter sang wonderfully and seemed to redeem herself a week after fudging the national anthem at the Super Bowl. But all anyone is talking about the morning after is the stumble seen round the world.
"It's a trainwreck," one insider backstage tells me. "No one knows what's going on with her, but whatever it is, it isn't good."
It wasn't exactly how she wanted to end her looong week. After getting through the tribute to Aretha Franklin unscathed, the camera was panning away, and you could just see Christina losing her footing. Contrary to reports out there, she did not fall on her a** and/or face. WATCH BELOW
Even though a great deal of the TV audience didn't see it, people at the Staples Center were taken aback by Christina's split-second slip-up.
"The audience at home could hardly see it because it was shot from afar. However, everyone in the stadium did and was shocked," my backstage source tells me. "She was acting very erratic backstage before her performance and wouldn't let anyone into her dressing room before the show began. Something is very wrong."
The audience wasn't too shaken by the minor mishap, though. Christina, along with Jennifer Hudson, Martina McBride, Florence Welch and Yolanda Adams, earned a standing ovation from the Grammys audience.

Leave her alone, FFS. She sang beautifully and probably just tripped on her very long dress and 5-6 inch heels. Time for haters and the media to get a life.
Christina Stumbles at Grammys What does it mean for the singer's career?
What does stumbling have to do with her singing career??! Possibly the writer of this article has stumbled with their jouralistic abilities, and should seek employment as anything other than a writer.
Aguilera can sing, no doubt about that. She did well on her Franklin number. Jennifer Hudson was not as good as usual; a Franklin number is suited to her fabulous voice and perhaps she did not have the best song. I got the feeling Aguilera got most face time which she used to put the others in the shade.
Ok, this is getting really pathetic on the media's part.
I feel like for some reason you all want her to have this horrible breakdown a la Britney, Whitney, Mariah etc. It's not happening and you guys look really ridiculous for trying to turn her slipping on her dress into a mental breakdown.
Christina has had a huge amount of stress in her life over the past few months from what I've read; divorcing her husband, the slip up at the Super Bowl which caused a big flap. She needs to take a break. She has been singing since she was a child, and been in the spotlight a long time. Some time to slow down and focus on her young son wouldn't be a bad idea.
She was hardly coherent! I watched and could not understand one thing that she yelled. Before cracks, she needs help, lose weight, and focus on her Husband and child that she has abandoned a la Briney.
The others held back to give Xtina a chance to redeem herself otherwise they would have blown her out of the water. Xtina is a good imitator, but like Bruno Mars she is not the real thing. She mimics R & B well, she is not an original. She was intentionally given more face time by the Grammy's because of all her recent problems.
She is a bloated clown faced bow legged SCREECHING DRUNK! Joss Stone, Adele, Amy Winehouse are the best blue-eyed SOUL SINGERS not this TRAIN WRECK falling down onstage.
I agree, I much prefer Joss Stone put her up against Christina and Christina sounded like she was trying to out belt Hudson which is virtually impossible!
Enough, time to back off and give her some space, you know dam well everyone was watching her, and she new it also. Time to move on. POPEATER, BRUNO MARS WAS THE BEST ACT, YOU DID NOT PUT HIM ON THE LIST.
r u kidding me? She fell oh my god! new flash media everybody falls! I saw the perfomance and she sounded amazing! So everybody needs to leave xtina alone there just picking on anything she does it stupid leave the gurl alone!
"Stumble seen round the world?" Potentially but only thanks to the internet where every public gaffe can be scrutinized by the widest possible audience. But seriously to suggest that something is wrong with her because she has been less than perfect is absurd. She merely had the misfortune to err twice so conspicuously in front of millions. It's not a crime to screw up as long as you do it in private. Once you have the eyes of the world on you there is no room for error. You cannot stumble, falter, or otherwise demonstrate fallibility. If you are a public figure you are expected to stay with the script and send them home vaguely satisfied that they have heard or seen precisely what they intended to. Personally, I think this world needed someone of her status to butcher the sacred anthem. They needed the shock. She reminds us that chaos looms beneath every facade of order and that you can never take anything for granted.

Perhaps you should try to be a JOURALIST. You seem to have it mastered.

Maybe if she would wear some lower heels and not wear those tight mermaid dresses she could walk a little better.

Christina is like all of the rest of us, she isn't perfect. She had a very long dress on with high heels.

this is silly, even beyonce has tripped and fallen at her own concert before. She's probably pregnant...leave her be.

She probably took pills to calm her nerves and was a little buzzed - She blew the National Anthem, It could have meant her career if she blew this
